Try using lead foil or electrician's tape. With the tape though, you need to use a solvent to get the sticky stuff off.

I want to do my suggestion on this one too.
What I use for leatherstraps, gunslings, chinstraps, All kind of straps is...
Aluminum Pie-lids. Easy to cut, Bend and Glue and also easy to paint.
Plus the fact that you can buy them separate in the mall so you don`t have to buy cakes till you can`t eat anymore. And they are really cheap

I have read the post before and I responded a couple of times too on him but I`m stopping with it till he starts to act normal. But as you will see if you examine it closer then you`ll see that we are not talking about the same guy here. Airwarrior started the topic about leather straps but the guy from the thread you have posted is Cartridge and he is the one that is really a bit of annoying. I don`t know if there is any connection between the two guys but let us first sort this out before we are going to make any decisions

I know you are really peeved with cartridge.First of all cartridge is my brother.I showed him the site and how cool this place is and he also thought it was cool. I want you guy to take it a little bit easier on him.He is only 11 years old. He is not some teenager trying to annoy you. I will explain to him how peaved you are and show him how to ask his questions and only ask what I don't Know already. Don't take me wrong He does acually use your advice. He does have a b-24 hanging up on his cieling he does have army figs ( one of them has a blood stained bandage ) and he does have tanks.so please take it a little bit easier and ignore his posts that are up so far. I'm sorry for all the trouble he has caused.
