Okay, this isn't an entirely serious question, but after seeing the commercial where the Smurf village gets bombed, I can't help but think of some novel diorama ideas, such as Garagmel riding a tank and crushing the Smurf village while shooting up the inhabitants. I know they make Smurf toys, but they'd probably be way too big for this purpose, wouldn't they?

Remember that Smurfs were only about 2' tall so if they are 1/35th scale they would really only be about 3/16".

Do you want that size or do you want a Smurf that is 2" tall?

I think these are the closest you're going to get
ebay item

Which would be kinda cool to scratch build the mushroom houses and bomb them.

Yes Jim,
We all know you are an avid, world famous and extremely serious "Smurf Collector", and bid small fortunes on Ebay to grab those elusive ones for your collection.

Having watched the Smurfs as a kid, I recall they were "3 apples high". :-)

I never watched the Smurfs cartoon myself, but most people who told me they did didn't like them. And a lot of people ended up finding the "bombed Smurfs" commerical humorous rather than shocking.

Hi all!

In France we call them les Schtroumpfs...

So Jim Rae is a Smurf collector! Now we know his weak point! :-)

I was wondering how the comic compared to the cartoon TV show. Probably a lot different?

Hmmm, Gargemel as a tank commander of the 3rd shock army at Siegessaule....

Have you actually seen the ad where the smurfs get bombed? It's pretty funny if you only see the first part, but the clips of african children missing limbs sobers you up quickly.

Aww - I read the title of this thread and seriously thought there were some 1:35th scale Smurfs out there. I would have gotten some! I guess I have to go back to blue-colored Play-Doh...

Sorry Jim - Smurfs are, well, smurfy. Daggits? Now - that's evil!

A pity, because I thought of an appropriate Smurfs modelling idea-Smurfs manning a SAM launcher!
