I'll add my welcome to Roadkills and say that recon units are defintely needed for success (and that modelmaking is a bug that when caught can change things very drastically...)

Again welcome!!

Guten tag Frau Selrach #:-)

A note about my wife, she comes from Russian roots and likes the Soviet ww2 armor most of all. She discribes it as "big, with a lot of guns...big guns" .
I think that's how the soviets discribed it also :-)

Although she doesn't build...yet. She does advise me on ideas for builds. ( She wants me to do a Soviet tank with a crew woman soon ). And, she does paint miniature figures. And pretty well at that.

Wow! What a response! Thank you!

I don't build models, but as Selrach said, I do paint miniatures although its been some years. I enjoyed painting fantasy figures, such as elven sorcerers, knights, rangers, wizards and other fantasy figures. I'm more into the fantasy medieval art. So who knows.

War_Machine I'm already having a good time! Didn't expect this type of response.

Eagle Hmmmm... didn't I say plastic_widow? LOL you meant that, didn't you?

Selrach Actually I'm interested in anything Russian, but when you showed me those tanks, especially the heavy tanks, now THOSE caught my eye. Looking forward to seeing the color scheme for it, tho I like panzer grey, I'm interested in seeing the dark green scheme. Wonder what the soviets called the color scheme.. maybe like you said.. "Glorious People's Dark Green". LOL (hmmmm.. that sounds too much like a chinese title)

Thank you everyone for a very warm welcome, I feel like part of the family now.

I've already spoken to you in the chat room, but here's an "official" welcome.

Welcome to Armorama Jean, hope you enjoy your stay.

Let us see some of your figures please, don't matter if they're not military.

We women are planning to take over Armorama, and then.. *GASP*.. yes! The World!!

Thanks again for the welcome. Sorry I haven't been in the chatroom but have been very busy as of late. However, I will be posting up pics of the two creations I did a few months ago: two knights on horses. Its the only thing I've painted in the last or so. I don't have any pics of my earlier work as it was before we moved here and I think they either got lost or damaged in transport.
