-I have one thats almost the twin of that 26ID helmet, someone had said it was the UK 46th Div. glad I finally got the striaght dope on it. Thanks

Another 26th ID, this time 101st Field Artillery. A buddy who went to the SOS saw this helmet on a table, phone/emailed a pic and now it's here. Technology can be very handy.

What did your freind think of this years SOS? I heard everything about it from being great to really bad.

Good/bad was likely dependent on your area of interest. My buds also specialize in helmets and reported this year's event was outstanding - easily the best in years. Another helmet from the show should arrive early next week.

How much did this one cost you? I picked a 77th ID one up in June. No liner, 95%of the shells paint is gone, and parts of the insignia have chipped away, but it is what it is.
