An ascot, smoking jacket in front of the fireplace in the library would have really looked good for the video.

Really nice interview !
What does make the difference with ohter site is armorama seems to be more interactive for me. that's the key point of the Web 2.0 and you seem to have understand it !
Armorama is the best website I know ! Nice idea to have an advisory board, representing different people coming from different culture, side etc..
May I suggest you (as you ask us to do in the video
) three things :
1) Try always to have in mind that users are not computer genius. Always try to implement the easiest way. I know this site is huge, but I think this point is crucial.
2) Post more stuffs on display !! I know this is not your responsability and more displays on the site will come from the users works. But maybee some of us who are a little impressed by the level of some modellers don't dare to ask you a display. I think you could encourage youngers or beginners to show their works on display, by creating for example a beginner display section. For me, and I guess many other members, we surf on modelling websites mainly to search for new dioramas, figures or planes etc.. pictures, in details, under many angle.
3) This is linked to the second point, definitely put more pictures of shows on armorama, even smaller ones ! You got to encourage people to report from the show they attended, even if it's the smallest show of the country ..
To conclude, the more you put models and publish users works on the site, the better this site will run long and healthy.
For the review and news section, I have nothing to add since Jim does an excellent work..nearly always first on the news :-)
Long life armorama ! Keep up the excellent work !
Best regards,
Julien

I don't know if I heard this right, but did you say that unsolicited reviews will be accepted again at Armorama?

You heard him say that Armorama will have a 'User Reviews' section. Something that Jim had planned from when I first introduced the 'Solicited Reviews Only' policy. As Jim also said, he tends to get sidetracked and so it's taken a little longer than he expected. This was mentioned in all the relevant topics though.
