Well thats a difficult question

Which would you like? in tankysgal and my house we have a bunch of PC's on line. All of different configurations. Varying from an antique p3 powered hobby room PC to celeron, p4, and amd athlon64 processors, ram is from 384 to 2 gig. As for HD's they range from 30 to 300gig, all have cdrs and all but one have dvd burners. But what does this have to do with modeling? I can use the slowest PC in the house to store all my reference and get on line to get any info I need as pertaining to the modeling world. Speed is not a factor

Ah to have the twin squirrel drive that Tankcarl so fondly talks about , just would be heaven

Like Dave I to have a Sony.
It also has a hp printer/scanner. And the mouse is a gateway.......
Oh and when I get mad at it for not working and kick it it usually hurts my foot. Does that mean anything?
I do think it has somewhere around 25GB but couldn’t tell you any more.
Most not be to good because the call of duty game doesn’t work on it.

Specs? For which one?
I have 6 PCs in my house. They range from a 900MHz AMD clunker to a 3.4 GHz Intel dual core. Some have SD RAM some have DDR RAM. I have got a plethora of video cards from 3Dfx, ATI and Nvidia. Some PCs run SATA hard drives and some run ATA 100/133. My server runs in a SATA RAID 1 configuration. I am too lazy to back up my data so hopefully this will help me prevent data loss should one of the disks go bad.
Oh, and I am typing this on a Dell Precision M65 laptop running at 2.2 GHz Intel dual-core with 1GB of RAM and 512 MB NVIDIA Quadro FX 350 M video card.
BTW, I just threw away a couple of old PCs. They were a PII 450MHz and a Celeron 500 MHz.
Have I satisfied your technical curiosity? Now, how about you tell us about your models? What are you in the process of building?

Wow, Talk about feeling low! We only discouvered cd burning technologie a year and a half ago on the family computer and DvD players on the pc this year when i apperantly busted the cd burner(long story)(not that we didnt know of those jewels before, we jsut never bought the,)
Now about my pc.. we have 2 at my house. one is my brothers and sisters, the other is my dads, which iam on right now. The first one isnt worht mentioning and my dads pc is basicly 800mhz crap box with a 19 inch viewsonic flat screen the size of an old tv! that was definatly the "shizzle" back in the days...
Go figure, we've been cursed by this pc. No one knows how we managed to have so many problems!
Now lets hope i can get that laptop for cegep...

Right, What, let's not start like that. On this site we do not speak in silly characters, nor do we like the all capital approach. It may be perceived to be rude...
This is the Junk Drawer, so you can 'discuss' computers if you must, but if it degenerates into a binairy slogfest we will have to put the lid on.
Thank you
