Hi,
I justed wanted to show some pictures of my new paint shelf that my SWMBO and I built the last days. It was very nice to get things a bit more organized...and she's damn good in doing that organizing part...a bit too good sometimes perhaps
And the pics!

That's a very nice, and organized paint rack.
Appears to be fully stocked, easy to spot what you are looking for, and takes up little space. Excellent idea, and design.

Hi Andreas!

Now I believe your wife will ask you to build the same thing for her shoes collection!
By the way, what brand are these paint bottles? Prince August?

Hi Andreas

Very neat! But it wouldn't work for me - my paints come in too many shapes and sizes... from bottles, through tinlets and Vallejo-type droppers like those. I'd love be that organized - but it'll never happen! My workshop is a picture of chaos...

All the best

Okay, I really like the idea, but I have one problem with the execution. There is no intermediate support for the shelves causing them to bow down in the middle under the weight of the paint. That looks like a heck of a lot of and I think if you added some intermediate bracing to support the load, it would last a lot longer than without. I would hate to see that nice example of craftsmanship go in the rubish bin next year because it lacked such a small feature.

I agree with Rob. It's a great idea, but it's sagging a bit in the middle (aren't we all ).

Thanks for the compliments! I will forward them to my SWMBO too.:-)8
Yes Jeroen, thatīs all the Vallejo Colours, except number 30 as you can see if you look close on the second picture. They didnīt have it when I ordered them so I left a place empty to buy one later.
I havenīt really thought about that sag before but itīs true... Iīve put some support in the back to reduce the warp on some shelves, but I notice now I should put some for everyone. Thanks for pointing out!
