I picked up my copy today. I thought the Coyote was amazing. I thought the F-14 was overweathered. The article on whitewashing was great, and I intend to try it.
I showed my wife CaptainJack's article, you know...look at this...I know this guy. She said "Why don't you do one of those?" OK, I have permission of buy a model (she thinks a native American bust would be nice). But Jack! How do I ever get even close to what you do? Very nice.

Chuck thanks so much, your kind words bring warmth. It is nice when other members of the community admire your work, and I'm certain that you too aree as capable if you set your mind to it. Native american busts is a good choice, there are many good and interesting subjects to choose from as well. Thanks once again, you're very kind.

Way to go on an excellent article, Jack. I have never airbrushed a figure, but I may try it now.

I also plan to try that whitewash technique in the issue -- it's exactly the effect I've been looking for to use on my Canadian Sherman IC Firefly.
