Sorry that I've been distant, its not anyone or the game, I'm just getting about 2-3 hours of sleep a night. Things aren't good healthwise. If I'm awake I'll jump in, but can't tell you how long I can play. If I feel the possiblity of any chance of sleep I'd have to break away and sleep. Hope to see you tomorrow.

Hi Jean-Luc

I'll try to look in for a while tomorrow, but things will be pretty hectic as it's my first weekend back in London - and, of course, I'll be trying to catch the light to get some pics for new reviews.

All the best

Hi all!

I made the server yesterday (but forgot to tell here! ) and will make one today!
I don't know what you think, but shouldn't we stop the Friday sessions? We are usually not more than three players anyway and maybe only one session per week-end is enough! Seems a lot of potential players are busy (me included) and can't play on two sessions. What do you think?

My opinion is that it is better to have one session with 6-8 players rather than two with 3-4 only... and the saturday one seems to have more success.

So any volunteers for today? We're gonna play on a full winter map this time! So opponents should be easy to see and targets easy to spot! I'll fly a slow Ju 87 G "Kanonenvogel" for those not comfortable with aerial combat... but beware of Helmut, my rear gunner!

Today's session time (server can run longer if needed)
UK = 1:00 - 3:00 PM
France and Netherlands = 2:00 - 4:00 PM
Finland = 3:00 - 5:00 PM
Singapore = 21:00 - 23:00 PM
Texas = 7:00 - 9:00 AM
Massachusets = 8:00 - 10:00 AM

Hi Jean-Luc

Sorry, I was up to my neck taking photos. I've just taken a break, but it looks like I missed you by five minutes! Oh well, as you say, there's always a chance to fly another time.

All the best

Hi all!

Just a quick note to inform you that the IL2 "Armorama Circus" has been "reactivated" (see here ) If you are interested, give it a try!

Next session is Friday evening
UK = 6:00 - 8:00 PM
France and Netherlands = 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Finland = 8:00 - 10:00 PM
Singapore = 2:00 - 4:00 AM Saturday
Texas = 12:00 - 14:00 PM
Massachusets = 13:00 - 15:00 PM

I will probably launch the server 1 hour earlier to let you join in.

I'm back, but I can't see the server? I've logged out and logged back in but still can't see it. My tea is about ready so I will close down my computer and log back after I've eaten

Hi again!

I always get kicked off the Lobby
I don't know if this is a problem due to my Wi-Fi connection? The signal seems to be weak an not regular. I'll try a last time and will reenter the password CIRCUS...

Hi again!

Ok I give up now!

It seems my Wi-Fi connection isn't good enough. I have two options:
First is to achieve a better Wi-Fi connection (the modem is downstairs and my PC upstairs). Maybe I can try a longer USB cable?
Second is to connect my PC the "old way" via a 10m long phone cable. That's what I did in the past and that's what I wanted to avoid!
Anyway, I'll try to fix that. Unfortunately I won't be able to play tomorrow. Maybe we could make a test in the middle of next week Mal?

Sorry guys...

Your Welcome Roger! :-)

As for realistic landings and complex engine management... well I think we still have to learn!
I must fix my PC connection first though...

Hi Mal!

I see you are trying to get in... hope it will work this time!

I connected my modem upstairs using a 10m phone cable and now my Wi-Fi connexion seems to work better (before it was "weak" and now "excellent").
If it is not working this time, I think I have to get back to a standard connexion again for my PC.
