Greetings my friends!
I'm writing this thread in response to some really good news that I just received from a new friend of mine, a very talented author and modeler hailing from Canada, Mr. Nick Cortese, who has just joined the ranks of Armorama. He has alot to offer our family here, not only with his modeling talents but also his literary skills, and has written to me his hopes of contributing some feature articles in the future. He has recently co-written "Modelling the T-55 Main Battle Tank", #20 in the Osprey Modeling series, as well as other volumes for Osprey Publishing. So let's give him a warm Armorama welcome, as only we can do!
Thanks,
Gunny

Good news Mark, and please tell Nick to contact the Editor appropriate to the area he's interested in contributing to, or indeed, any member of the staff. Good news indeed.

Let me just say in the last few months I've been fortunate enough to have communicated with Nic on several endeavors and I am all the better modeler for it. He is the rare combination of talented writer, a terrific personality and an extraordinary modeler whose scratchbuilding abilities continue to set new standards in our hobby. Nic has has helped me immensely and continues to do so, and asks nothing in return. We here at Armorama now have a new and exciting avenue with which to learn award-winning building and painting techniques!
Welcome, buddy ...
BTW, Nic, no need for the offer of cash .... these words were easy to write so they're on me!
