Arq, are you thinking of shifting to 1:48? I still find the price a bit steep especially if the other major manufacturers do not beef up the supply.

CK, its sharing an air cond from my kids' room via an extraction fan. Still cracking my head on planning for some display/storage cabinets. Anybody knows of any cheap airtight glass cabinets out there suitable to house dios and kits in 1:24 scale ?

ps: Maria is a real noisy one. Wonder how much noise she makes while......... :-)
Besides the HM (you know you have to include her or else if she accidently stumble onto this forum, mampus you...) I think Kidman is gorgeous and sophisticated, the lookalike Naomi juga, Alba is exotic. Theron is sexy. you should also look into Claire Forlani, Monica Potter and maybe the lady in Deep Blue Sea.

Loo, I am thinking of going to 48th soon. A few manufacturer from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are going for 48th scale to compete with Tamiya. Skybow is already producing Tigers and Hobby Boss going for T-34s. Not to forget, there is also Verlinden. So, 48th kits would be something I am seriously thinking of venturing.

Jimbo I see we have managed to get a few more recruits for our favorite topic. Seeing as you have shown us 3 on the top of your list but listed Ms. Theron as #7 who are the other 3?

Loo I have a cabinet from Ikea which is pretty good except they still have a bit of gaps being glass. Once I figure how to plug them a bit they're fine. As for you favorite list I can't say I share the same interest. There is some rumor going around that Saffron Burrows is a lesbian though. BTW did you get my PM in the other forum.

Guys I think we need to take the Boss to movies or invite him over to watch Astrolah. His databank for women a bit outdated. :-)

Boss you got to watch a bit of sports, women golf will be a good start for you. Look out for the Korean girls.

Hello guys!

1/48 armor...looks like Tamiya is really pushing on this scale...wonder if it's going to be 'the' scale for armor?

Jimbo sorry to hear that you have to work over the weekend. Major bummer. I on the other hand have to work all Saturdays since returning to my old company. No fun as well.

Good thing you went and put out some pics for the Boss. Its sad that he pencen as far as looking at women. Such a pity.

Hmm... thanks for sharing the rest of the members. Natalie Portman, yes the girl has a certain vulnerability about her and of course who could ignore, the Michele Pieffer lips craze at one time. My favorite of course the timeless Ashley Judd. I must commend you on your excellent choices Jimbo especially as to Ashley and Maria.

As for the Korean girls in golf I thought I get our Boss started slow and easy. If not he might get major cultural shock since he hasn't been keeping up with the Babe scene.

For the fixed-sides, I would use a bit of silicone glue whereas for the moving door I would go for silicone wipers.

heheh,
wondering y my gf pics posted here in armorama...hehehehehe...

Boss,
nak cerita skit my lembabnesss...(mengaku jelah)
as you all have known tha ntv7 has been bought by media prima...this is a true story...

well, previously, ive worked for ntv7 as a brand manager for kids@fgw's belt. Incharge of promoting the brand. working for a kids brand is one helluva job for a guy like me, you know la kan, kiddo kiddo stuffs and all that. My target audience is a niche 6-14 age group.

So, one day, ive walked into a heaven.... a store room filled with hundreds of boxes contains toys and kids product... and you know what..the keys are with me.

Going through the stores inventory, i came across lists of hasegawa and airfix's model airplanes! guess how many boxes are they? i got 50 unopened big boxes of hasegawa and airfix models..each big box ada 5-7 models. and lupa ada lagi 2 big box of hasegawa old colors...(ada yang dah keras) GILE LA AAAAAA!!!!!

the toys are all from our old sponsorship deal, left in the store for some years, the previous brand manager dah tak buat contest and stuffs to give away the toys. they dont ave anything to do with em, but they do planned to giveaway everything ...until i came into the picture..hehehe

apalagi, i can do anyting with the toys..especially the models hehehehehe.. i did took out a few box and sedekah to my cameraman and crew yang shoot for my programs. ade a few yg jadi hadiah visit to rumah anak yatim and stuffs, DAN ADA JUGA YG DIRESERVE UNTUK DIBAWA KELUAR...heheheheh for my own use..ada lah plan for that...heheheh

AKAN tetapi...i requested for a transfer to a different department...i choose to join the creative team, then, im an art director there...enjoying the job, the freedom of wearing what i want, the cool people, the bizness the life and the hype of being in a creative environment...

i lupa about model making.,that is when
i stoped building..man,..this part was my darkside of the force...
sedang itu juga.... I LUPA TO BAWAK KELUAR MY RESERVED MODELS!!!!! sampai la aku berenti keje ngan ntv7 last december.... HAMPAS.

moral of the story...jangan lupakan model making....
hehehehe

may peace be upon you

-opie-

Opie I have to agree with Jimbo on this. How can you forget that modelling treasure? First, its free. Second there was a lot of it. Third some of them were probably classics.

If I were you, I'd contact any of your old kaki there and see whether you can still salvage something.
