hairil... 1/72 F-15E kits not accurate ke... what co. makes them aa.. AFAIK italeri +academy ... hasegawa also did an F-15E right?

the current 1/72 Strike Eagles lack some features of the real Mud hens. Consider these
1. Wrong stores pylons for Hasegawa and Revell kits
2. No middle tangential pylon in Academy kit
3. No long CFT pylon in Italeri kit
4. Wrong MFD (OK not really an issue for me)
5. No bulged tyres and landing gear doors (every kit)
6. Feathered exhausts - the real one use featherless type (yes, can buy AM one but $$ lagi!)
OK, some of the defects can be corrected through scratch-building, but I think that I'm not skilled enough to attempt that (sikit-sikit boleh la!). So the next best alternative is by kitbashing.....and what I'm going to do with the other kit?

Hairil,
u did your homework well...personally i never bothered to correct any of those...unless in some AFV cases... just build for fun..accuracy is second
tell us what;s your new project and what's the nothern modelling scene look alike now...

Well sometimes i don't bother about accuracy, say lawnchair shaped ejection seat or the slightly wrong nose shape of the Hasegawa 1/72 Su-27....but if it is blatantly wrong like the current F-15Es in 1/72, then it might induce a bit of IMS (intermediate modeler's syndrome) in me!
As for the northern modeling scene, i think it's more happening in Penang...esp. some of our members are there. Here in kedah, I think there are only a few of us...i think. Well, what do you expect with NO hobby shop? There are a few in Penang : 2 Toy cities, Hobbyco in KOMTAR (which only open on weekend afternoons) and another shop in megamall Seberang jaya which i intend to visit next weekend.
There also the odd cheapskate Chinese models in departmental stores. I bought a Kitech 1/72 Tiger PAH-2 (which i think is a poor copy of Revell's) last night from a departmental store in jitra....we'll see how it builds up...

Yo Jimbo,
For free advice no problemo but if you want to engage her firm I wouldn't advice it as their costly. She may be able to put you in touch with her other lawyer friends in smaller firms if you want to do anything officially. Also I have a diving kaki who has a law firm but I don't know how much he charges though.
Let me know in more specific details and maybe I can ask her for free advice.

Boss don't know anyone at that firm you mentioned. As for diving its Scuba though at one time I did think of sky diving. Not too heavy and not fit anymore for sky diving although it would be nice if I could bring my Fallshirmjager fig along when I dive.

Jimbo, to get your bank loan approved quickly, the bank usually have a list of lawyers for you to choose from. However, you would need to scrutinize the loan agreement as it most likely bias in favor of the bank.
To engage a Shah Alam lawyer, I guess you need to drive around Shah Alam town or Seksyen 11, looking for laywer offices (usually not on the ground floor).

just a quick word of advice for I've seen this happen to too many people. You don't want to mess around with the transaction for a house. its your life savings you are dealing with. Last think i would want is to let someone who does not treat the thing professionally to handle it. Will hurt you financially later more than what you can save initially.
ps. not all good things are cheap, but most things which are cheap in comparison are not the best...
my two cents.

besides that, another important matters is weather that law-yer can be kautim la... some of the fees they charge us are way too much..and they said it's standard fees controlled by the government... actually the government only guide them ...so they may free to charge u base on the guidelines... so if u can kautim with them, u score another point here...
i still waiting for my lawyer to reduce some of the fees...
i've been paying more then 6k now for all the charges...hampeh!!!

.... on our previous house the lawyer was very lembab in doing the case.. thankfully we got everything cleared and the money disbursed before the bank starts to charge interests. so that's why i'm particularly choosy with the lawyers now.
afaik the legal rates and duties are fixed by the bar assoc but they can charge you more (or less) on the miscellanous fees i.e: printing, transport etc.

Very, very sneaky Boss. I must resist, I must resist. You won't get me so easy. Actually I saw it last evening when I was posting some pics. So I quickly go to Ignore, Ignore, Ignore mood. So far selamat.
Mana lah my gang...Jimbo who I can borak of "safer and cheaper" topics. Jimbo I just wanted to say I have nothing against Ms. Scarlett and she did show her best side in that magazine photoshoot, tapi in terms of 'statistics' I will have to go with Kiera. Anyway I'm still a 5-woman man. (Julianne Moore, Ashley Judd, Marisa Tomei, Naomi Watts and the Home Ministry).
Of course if the Home Ministry tanya me then she get No. 1 rankinglah.
