The bad thing is that it is the truth.

You don't know how many people I saw that had a cooler of beer in thier vehicle coming through the line to get food, water, and ice while I was on Hurricane Rita duty.

It's just to funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pictures like that really make you wonder on weather or not you should contribute, because you know what the two of them will spend the relief money on. It's a sad, sad day.

I believe that the quick assumption that these people are rednecks is wrong...... First of all, no chewing tobaco products are visible. I am certain that this fine vessel would be flying some type of NASCAR flag if it were from the redneck fleet. Lastly, no real redneck would be pulling the woman, come on, he'd be riding the boat, and she'd be pulling.

All I can figure is they must have been tourists who couldn't get out before the storm hit.

Damn, Talk about pre-planning...he made sure that his "chick" was a skinny one to make it easier to float. A heavier girl would have meant less beer (if she rode) or more beer (if she wadded and pulled the load).

I'm sure most have seen the www.beerlooterdude.net site. The original photo was shot by one of my best friends and former boss, Dave Martin of the Associated Press. The photo has since been photoshopped by hunderds of folks.

If they were real rednecks the huntin dawgs would be on the raft with the beer and the shotguns.

These people look like Biafrans or drug and alcohol dependent welfare parasites. Sorry, just an opinion, a picture tells a thousand stories, for all I know they could be Ford Motor Co. executives.

Once again sorry just an angry American taxpayer.

As a redneck myself I can saw with confidence that they are not rednecks.

You would never see a redneck around that much water without a fishing pole.
Heck a redneck probably wouldn’t even leave. We wouldn’t even leave the house. Just fish out of the 2nd story windows.

Any way no redneck going to be seen with that load of alcohol. You would see whisky and kegs. Perhaps a few jugs of moonshine.

I’m a very gifted redneck.
I cut a deer open and found a computer in it and rigged its power cable up to the truck battery.

I also have a beer hat so may hands are free.
