Had to slap this one up...My daughter attends the U. of Richmond and we travelled there 2 weeks ago for family weekend. One week before we left she told us of a surprise she had...can imagine where we went on this one! Low and behold ..sitting in an audience with a few hundred people..this is what we were treated to...her solo!

Wow, what a voice! She has got a definite gift my friend. She could probably do very well for herself as a solo singer or in a band. Has she tried to pursue either?

Marty...The group has finally raised enough money to hit the studio..They are the newest of 4 groups at her college. 3 years as a club group..meaning any money comes mostly from them raising it. They are due to start recording this month and hope to release the CD in May. Nichole needs to finish college before anything else at this point. She also doesnt believe her voice is something that will carry her anywhere..but for fun and the love of singing.

I grew up in a culture that prized the human voice far above "mere" instrumental music. (No it wasn't some dark, remote place, just the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. Well, okay, perhaps it was a bit dark and remote... Certainly windier and wetter than average). Good for cold winter nights, a big fire and... modelling.

Damn, this is beautiful! She has such a beautiful voice! In my own opinion, she's one of the best singers I've ever heard! I can't say anything bug WOW!

Angela, Thankyou! They are recording their 1st cd this year..Hope to start this month..You can bet when it comes out everyone here will know about it. :-) Nichole didnt write the song..but they do recompose them so it can be done with all vocals..hence..A Cappela.
