This has to be one of the coolest college pranks I have seen in a while. Midshipmen from the Naval Academy repainted the F4 Phantom at the Air Force Academy.
They painted it blue with a yellow "Blue Angles" on the sides...

LOL...that was very cool and clever. Curious to see what the Air Force is going to do now.

That is GREAT. I can't believe I hadn't heard about this from the local papers. Navy better guard their goat VERY glosely! The big games tomorrow, I wonder who will win?

I'm looking forward to Army coming out here. When another service academy comes to town the Air Force puts up everything that will fly into the air to show off. Best free air show around.

Rodger,

Navy's goat "dressed" for the Army Navy game a few years ago...

Line is Navy by 1 point. I'm taking Air Force. Of course I took my Purdue Boilermakers last week and they got hammered.

Yeah Shaun, that one was a bad choice...lol

I have to say the Academies (all of them) have the best rivalries of any college in America (dare I say world)! It'll be interesting to see the AF's counterattack.

I'm almost thinking anything that AF does now is just an "also-ran." I'm glad that that pranks are accepted part of cadet life. I'd hate to think that the Navy cadets would get in trouble for a brilliant stunt

This used to happen all the time in Germany I used to be in a camp shared by the RSDG and 2 RTR during 2RTR's Cambrai day they would go over and steal signs ect from the Dg's one year they put super glue in the DG's RSM's car locks ect so the DG's got their own back, sneaked up to the centurian parked outside "RTR's guardroom (mannned 24hrs) and painted big van dyke stripes all over it I think they painted the tank blue as well :-)
there was also another game with the RHF and 2 RTR's with wives later on ...not really for this site if you get my drift
