Hi guys, just out of curiousity, has anyone came across these kits?

Japanese Type 97 Tank
German PanzerKampfWagen II
German Army Infantry (Tamiya)
German Hanomag Sd.Kfz.251/1
German 88mm Gun Flak 36/37 (Tamiya)

Other than those in brackets, other models are fine for the other kits.

Thanks

It's always the case though, when I enter a hobby shop. I get the urge to spend.

I could have seen some of these at Hobby Point (Tiong Bahru). Compared to Time machine, HP have better stock (maybe better prices) for Tamiya's.

Sunshine plaza, the shop without a signboard.

cheaper than TS.

Anyway, TS dont carry all those as stated above, except for some variants of the German halftrack.

Hey Danny,

the shop at Sunshine plaza, compared to lets say you have a 20% discount at another shop.

Buying a kit at either shop, which would be cheaper? Just trying to make a few comparasion. Hope it doesn't trouble you =)

I'll just quote an example i once told you guys about, again.

I bought a DML panther D for 24 bucks there, compared to TS, $34. (TS is the cheapest place for DML stocks)

I got my 1/48 Tamiya model kits there for just 18 dollars each. Compared to ANY other hobby shops which are selling them at $31 or more.

I once saw a Tamiya T55 for just 36 dollars. Compared to 55 or more elsewhere. Really regretted not grabbing that.

It opens at 11 am but go at 11:30...cos that guy always late hahaha

you can also check out other modelling shops there in sunshine plaza and at the back of the building near the entrance to the carpark is a shop where they deal in trees. I tell you, the trees are really really nicely done! that guy have talent.

I'm not sure about the price of the trees bu they sure aint cheap.

They are worth it though and the guy is really friendly, he shares the technique of making the trees with us.

Armorama has a feature on making trees using wires. Go check it out. I'm still half way from completing the tree that i'm making using the method written in the feature. Not a bad idea of making trees

Yup...The Hanomag and Flak 88 I saw at the Orchard Store, Specialist Centre. It sshd still be available, me think. For me, I'm looking for the Tamiya Half Track model (not the Hanomag but the newer version). Can't seem to find it.

O.K..Now I remember where TimeMachine is...It's the one with the huge Vietnam Dio....I go to Miniature hobby, Orchard Store, Hobby Focus, and also the Tamiya showroom...sometimes they clear their older Tamiya stocks at cheap prices...
