If anyone ever wants to exchange fire with me I am generally found on a Battlefield Vietnam 24/7 Flaming Dart server (DCE, F|THA, or a number of others). You can find me via my callsign (which strikes fear into the heart of many players)...

Winnie_the_Pooh :-)

Oh and seriously I generally kick-butt so don't be mad when I kill you repeatedly. LOL

Jim

PS: I have BF1942 as well so would be up for that. But I am probably a bit rusty.

I would certainly go a round or two with any of ya's. I have all the above games, but the best game by far, in my opinion is BF42's mod Forgotten Hope. The best graphics, realism, and for all you armor nuts, these guys did an incredilble job on the armor units in the game. A must play for anyone who likes BF42.

Here's just one of many tanks in the game:

Forgotten Hope

Keep in mind that the client files for this mod are a little more than 2G, yes that's 2000megs in size. If you plan on downloading ( I would assume most are too scared to download it because of it's size) do it before you go to bed. That way, when you get up in the morn., she's all ready to be installed. Believe me, thsi mod is well worth it!!! Bar none.

Lets get a game going...

PS: my callsign in case you have not figured it yet; Kencelot

For all your FPS needs Amped DX formerly known as FPS Central.

Forgotten Hope is an awesome mod. I like the fact that they added the Panther and the King Tiger when the original totally ignored them.

I guess this would be a bad time to mention that I work for EA and have/will be doing alot of work with Battlefield 2

For all of you nuts, it looks and plays FANTASTIC!

Perhaps when it ships I can work with the folks here at the Big A to raffle-off a few copies as prizes

BT,
That woud be FANTASTIC!

Seriously the guys at DICE have created some seriously addicting game-ware here. I can't remember the last time I played a game so religiously for year +. It was probably Civ II.

Keep us apprised. And if you can get EA to lend us a game-server to play on.... hehe

Cheers,
Jim

Yup, I hear you there. Another thing that Xfire does (I know I sound like Im constantly marketing it, but it is a great tool! ) is it tracks the amount of time you spend playing a game. When I stopped playing BFV regularly (got busy with work at old job), I had logged 117 hours+

Let's see... So that means I spent roughly five days of my life playing that game

As for the copies for the Big A, consider it done. One of the beauties of my jobs is that I control all of the prizing that goes out to the communities

Forgotten Hope is the most realistic WW 2 Game (its not a mod,its that good) ive ever played. With the whiz of bullets and the tons of vehicles, its addictive to no end. Just name a time and a server gents, and i'm in

I will have to download and install it, same with that mod as it's been awhile since I touched BF1942. I'll put my name in the same as here, Moezilla.

Maybe get a BF1942 and COD night going soon.
