Hmm, other than modeling...

- Watching my kids grow up right before my eyes
- XBox - mostly FPS, some sports/racing. If it has big explosions in it, I usually like it.
- Paintball. I play very little in the woods. I like the faster pace of airball/hyperball/speedball/XBall.
- Reading - US Civil War History (especially Gettysburg), Stephen King, Star Wars Expanded Universe, Tom Clancy.
- Movies. Have a huge DVD collection. I like most, but really like historical/period type films and big budget action flicks!
- Music. Play a little guitar, lots of CD's. Mostly hard rock/metal. Currently really digging Nightwish.
- eBay. Sell lots of stuff. More cash for models.

I find time for the wife in there, too!

Oh Lordy, I have collectoritis. I loved the Oakland Raiders as a kid (My first game was the Heidi-bowl) so I statred buying football cards in thelate 80-s and eventually put a complete set of Oakland raider cards going back to the very begining....1960. Then I started buying and putting together complete year sets. Lost interest in that when they started doing like 15 year sets each year. Fell in love with Vampirella....so started into comics. Got up to 10 differnt ones a month....luckily most just faded away. Finally quit doing that. Still need about a dozen card to complete my Babylon 5 collection. Got a lot of money tied up in MS 60+ Morgan and Peace dollars and Mercury dimes (if you know what FSB means then you'll understand about how exclusive my tastes were in this hobby). I love Boy scouts and Order of the Arrow patches (as well as being a very active adult leader) so I colect patches and work with a scout troop and all that encompasses. I snow ski, scuba dive. LOve to read history, have a ton of movies on video and converting as much as I can afford into DVD. I have a fairly busy life, unfortuneatly, it only involves me. Plan on getting another dog soon as I think a year and half is long enough to mourn for old Beau. Pretty much given up on women...I think most of the ones near my age either weigh 200 pounds or are interested in young superficial men. (ain't that rich!!!!) Of course if I were rich, I would be interested in youg superficial women (Trophy-wife....ha ha)

Fishkeeping is one of my oldest hobbies, i have 12 fish tanks scattered about the house ( i think the floor boards are going to give way soon)
Playfighting with my three daughters ( i always lose, my poor beaten knackers :-) :-) )
watching football ( soccer to the Americans )
Listening to music LOUD, nu-metal mostly and most importantly sleeping.

Baseball, football, fishing, hiking the local Sierra area,

GPS mapping, reading (history, thrillers and various assorted subjects)

The never ending projects around the house, I've begun brushing my 10 acres and limbing up the oak and pine trees as a safety buffer against wildfires

Plastic is way up there on my list, but with all that is going on around here plus working a 72 hr. week, I'm stretched thin!

Above all else, my dear wife and kids!

Cheers!

While not a hobby per say, work takes a good chunk of time, and it isn't too bad going to sports every night.

My second biggest consumer of time, which is more of a hobby, is working on the volleyball magazine and Web site I help produce.

Going along with those above I do a lot of photography and photoshopping.

For recreation I try to read at least an hour a night, right now a book on soldier experiences in the Korean War and one on Eighth Air Force. I also spend a little bit of time playing computer/video games. And then in the summer there's fishing to be done.

I used to keep several freshwater aquariums, but now I have none ... The electrical in this house can't handle it and I have three of four cats that have never seen an aquarium -- I don't think I can keep an eye on all at all times.

My other hobbies are hunting, fishing and gardening. Outside of modeling, if you can't eat it, it ain't worth messin' with. Yup, I'm an original hunter-gatherer. Think about that next time you go to the grocery store.

LOL, my modo is "i don't shoot something unless i want to eat it or it's causing a lot of problems (ex- the rare squeral that decides it want to chew apart my bird feeder)

Squirrels are actually pretty good eatin' -- skin 'em, clean 'em, quarter 'em, boil 'em about 45 minutes (longer for the old tough ones) and add some dumplings. Yum

I have a great interest in paleontology. Of course, the required subject of military history is in there too. :-)

In the immortal words of Father Jack Hackett:

DRINK! (an interest to share with my girlfriend)

GIRLS! (one definitely for her not to know about!)

Less excitingly, Books of most sorts, Films (ditto), visiting historic places (unbelievably there are some in Essex ) and befriending the neighbour's cats.

Spend time here looking out for pillboxes too.
