Naw...
I'd have to say Maple walnut Crunch! :-)
Would this build be limited to Armor? I'd like to do an f/a 18 in canadian markings.
Rob

P.S. Canuck steel is too similar to Swedish steel

Ok then Op Canuck Steel seems to be the favourite. (note spelling) Era will include WWII to present. (We can limit subsequent builds to specific types of vehicles or ops.) Any ojection to including softskins? I have no problem with it.

That works for me Paul, I am planning a para themed entry so softskins work for me
I will put together the campaign ribbon and banner if no one objects? Do we want a ribbon or a medal? I have a gif of a CD somewhere we could use or how bout the Special service medal/ribbon? Or something different all together, just let me know. We are gonna have to settle on some dates as well ie. Start and finnish.
Cheers,
Bryan

Bryan,
I'd reccommend just the ribbon for now. The original plan was the CD. We can have subsequent Canadian builds later on to inlude the other medals/ribbons. There are enough of them now. Recommended start date is 15 Jan. Recommended end date is 01 July.

The CD is a uniquely Canadian medal and is recognizable, being red and white. Canada Day seems to be a natural end date to me, unless people need more time? Op Canuck Steel is a great name, but I'm glad to see interest in my Maple Walnut Crunch!

OK Guys i sent Jim an e-mail with te parameters to see if we can get it approved as suggested. Wait out for now and start thinking about what you will build. I am going to do a Cougar 'tank trainer that will never see combat' as deployed in UNPROFOR to go up against the Serb tanks. lol

Nope. Plant a maple leaf on it and it's good to go, I say.
Right, I'll try to have a Ram finished for this one.
Good on ya, Paul!

Paul, Not another Ram

I amy be mistaken but I believe you have built at least one

The reason I am asking is that I was thinking about a Ram as well?
Looking forward to seeing your work as always Paul!
Happy New Year Everyone, Michael

I logged in and there was nothing there yet.
Hey Paul,
Glad to see that you have taken the lead on this. I am going to enter as well as maybe this will push to model a litlle faster, is there any way that we can extend the dates? I am pretty slow. I think that I am going to create something AVGP or Bison for this project. I might take a crack at creating the brother for your entry the grizzly! Time to sink my head into the bear for a while.

Its there but not official as it has not been approved. Here is the link:

It takes me about six months to build something myself. Thats why I chose the Cougar. Possibly almost out of the box. We can extend the dates as the end approaches if necessary. I see the bucket bonanza has been extended in the same way.

A great idea, Paul!
Since most of my personal projects are Canadian in nature, this should give me some incentive to complete something in a timely manner. Now to choose a subject...
Furthermore, in order to support modellers participating in this Canadian build, I've decided that Maple Leaf Models will offer a 10% discount for orders placed by modellers who are officially enlisted in this campaign.
Cheers,
JP

Is that retroactive, JP? That C2 is one of my build projects

Mind you, this is my excuse to start the pile of Canadian projects that I've been accumulating.
