I wanted to share an experience and tell you Squadron deserves my trust and respect once again.
For the Korean campaign ; i ordered a kit from squadron .As the kit arrived; I saw that the kit content was absolutely different than the boxart. I emailed the company for that;
Dear sir
I ordered SOL from Korea company SL3009 - Korea 1953 kit from Squadron and as I opened the kit box, it was a disappointment. The boxart of the kit shows a US Soldier fighting to a Chinese soldier on a small resin base. The Chinese figure is attached on the vignette but the head of the Chinese figure (having a chinese headgear) is missing in the kit. Unlike the boxart ;the parts of the US soldier in a seperate plastic bag are absolutely different. Some parts are impossible to use in a korean war vignette. The torso is having a post korean war webbing (modern), the head has a Vietnam war bonnie hat, jungle boots, the weapon is a colt AR-15 (must be a dream for all korean vets) and gear is also suitable for M-16 or AR-15... only the seperate legs are suitable to make this vignette as shown in boxart.
I want to learn how this problem can be solved.
Thanks for your help.

They replied me as fast as they can;
Sir, I believe what you received was packaged wrong by the manufacturer. I am sending a replacement to you tomorrow. Please do not send back what you have.
Today I had another pack from squadron having the correct parts as in the boxart.

Thanks to Squadron for not making a nightmare for me.
Best regards

Squadron rules - Fair shipping, some unbelievable deals, great catologue, friendly phone operators, unusual stuff, especially odd ball small scale resins, are you sold yet?

What a nice thread to stumble upon. I just ordered Rodens 1/32 Fokker DR 1. Think I'll go back and get the Early DR 7

I have never (ever!) had any problems ordering or receiving from squadron. And that includes 14 years overseas Via military mail!

Hope they keep it up!!!

I agree. Squadron is a decent company. I have never had a complaint about them myself.

I've been doing business with squadron for 30 years now. You pay a little more , but when they say they have it you'll get it . I have ordered on a MOnday afternoon and had my order Wednesday (of course it helps that i live 30 mies away) I have never, ever had a problem with them

I've orderd from them the past few times and it has been great. What makes it better is I place my order with a bunch of guys in my club and since the order is always over $100 the shipping is free so I get the item for the price in the catalog.

I was surprised by Squadron. I dropped by there on one of my infrequent trips to civilization (Dallas), hoping to buy a few items and not realizing they had no sales outlet. One of the managers came out, and after hearing I was from Midland, took pity on me and gave me a tour of the operation. Not only that, he let me, catalogue in hand, wander through the shelves picking what I wanted to buy. Luckily time was short or that could have been a REAL expensive trip. Since then I generally order from them, but somerimes I stray to the competition for stuff Squadron doesn't stock.
