Hey Robert, it is still early in the season. I think they will come around.
Oh man, Ajax used to be soooo good! I remember watching the likes of
Dennis Bergkamp (great striker)
Edgar Davids
Frank de Boer
Patrick Kluivert
Ronald Koeman
Brian Laudrup
Michael Laudrup
Marc Overmars
Frank Rijkaard
Clarence Seedorf
Marco van Basten (my all-time favorite)
Edwin van der Sar
Aron Winter
Jan Wouters
Ah, the memories

Plasticbattle,
Come on, AIK???? There are much better teams than that... like DIF!!

AIK and DIF are rivals here in Sweden. My home is divided into three teams: 1 for AIK, 1 for Hammarby and 3 for DIF

Better team has nothing to do with it! When I moved here first, I lived on Råsundavägen for almost 2 years, so I went along on saturdays to see the football. By the time I moved from there, I had met good friends and was going regularally.
A.I.K at their peak played in the group stages of the champions league and competed. They really gave arsenal a run for their money, drew with Barcelona and beat Fiorintina. DIF have passed their peak and didnt even knock at the back door.
Eventhough they are in a rut at the moment, the club is the biggest in sweden, so theres a fair chance they´ll be back again. Thats my 2pence worth, and Im sticking to it!

My 3 favorite clubs are (in order) Blackburn Rovers, Juventus (Turin) and Barcelona.

Howdy,
To all of you who apparently have been misguided all of your 'football' lives......(my condolences)
So, please. Don't be startled when I inform you all that.............
" PRESTON NORTH END is the
WORLD'S BEST FOOTBALL TEAM THAT HAS EVER PLAYED THE GAME, 'THOUGHT' ABOUT PLAYING THE GAME, DONNED A 'STRIKER'S UNIFORM IN THE 'GAME', FIGURED OUT HOW TO SPELL THE WORD "GAME", OR trotted his 'arse' off on the grass in front of several thousand 'Houligan's'!
You've been 'officially' graced with the sacred name of the 'Team-without-equal'........so says we!
Tread.
And they'll be no disgracin' the 'word'.........

:-) :-)
You're a better man than me, Gunga Din!
