UPDATE::::
Things are moving rather quickly. Kevin is now off the ventilator completely, is awake and is somewhat oriented. Naturally he is a little dazed and confused due to all the sedation he has been under..but he is able to talk to us now.
Thanks for your continued prayers and well wishes.
Mary

Thanks guys, Just another reason why this is the absolute best site around. This is why whenever i welcome someone to the site, i always say..welcome to the family. That is exactly what it feels like. You guys are soo great.
Kevin is doing wonderful. He is fully awake now, breathing normally on his own, No chest pain, all cardiac test thus far are very good. Doctors seem to think that their will be minimal damage to the heart. Tomorrow, he will undergo a test, An echocardiogram, which is and ultrasound of the heart, that will show the exact amount of damage that the heart has sustained. So say a prayer for him that all that goes well. I myself am doing a lot better since this afternoon. Being able to speak to him again, have him simply hold my hand..all has new meaning now. You never fully aprechiate something until u almost lose it.
Once again i want to thank all of you who have taken the time to wish Kevin well. Both he and i can not express how much it means and how much it has helped us. And yes..i have told him of everyone that has posted and sent their regards. Now that he is awake...he is telling me..go ..let the boys know how im doing...lol..
We both love each and every one of you and will always remember your support.
Mary:) (tears of JOY)
