Just a post to let you guys know that Jackhammer81..aka Kevin....will probably not be around for a few days. Earlier this afternoon, Kevin was sent to the ER of the local hospital for suspected heart related issues. After blood tests and EKG's, His test came back and there was an indication that something was going on with his heart. He was sent from his local ER to the Heart Center for immediate Heart Catheratization. While on the table for the heart cath. Kevin went into what is known as Pulmonary Edema. OR...He basically had a Heart Attack. There was an artery blocked 90% in his heart. Stents were put in place and also a device called a ballon pump that forces blood to be pumped into the heart.
As of now..he is in critical..but stable condition..He is on a ventilator and is not breathing on his own. If all goes well..the vent will come out tomorrow.
So..i just would like to ask all of you to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. And wish him a speedy recovery. I will post more here as more updates re: his condition are available.
Thanks in advance for everything.
Mary

Hey Mary,
Man, I am so sorry to hear this, I talked to Kevin yesterday morning and he told me about how he felt. I hope all goes well and that he recovers quickly. I have been through what you have, my American old man had the very same thing happen to him and it is not fun and a very sobering experience.
Talk to you soon and Keep the faith, you are both in my thoughs.

What a terrible news. When you only 'know' people from a distance ( over the net) you don't think that they may have health problems, and news like this really shakes you up. One moment happily posting pic's of dio's, the next critical in hospital... My thoughts are with you both and let's hope Kevin pulls through soon.
All the best

Just a little update. Right now Kevin is holding his own. His blood pressure is a little unstable falling a bit with all the medications that he is on..but this has actually gotten a bit better over the last hour. He is still on the ventilator, not breathing on his own yet. But is oxygen level in his body is good ..and his last blood gases shows signs of improvement in that department. He is being kept fairly sedated because he gets very agitated as he begins to wake up. He has a long way to go..but from what i gather at this moment, he is doing better.
Will post more info as i know more and just to let you know how he is doing. And for everyone that has posted so far. I printed it off the pc here..and i took it into his room and read him all the messages.

..thanks to you sooo much...

Dear Mary
This is some darn bad news that I read now this morning. I hope with all my heart that he will come out well and save. It must be a hard time for you and the fam too. having had my mother in the hospital for Cancer I know what it`s like to have Family in the hospital.
I wish you and Kevin and the rest of the fam all the best untill better times.

I'm glad to hear that he is now feeling a bit better.
My thoughts and prayers are with you two. Take good care of him,Mary.
