Lots of animals in the Forum lately, so lets turn it official!
The Dog is Fred,a boxer with 1year.The cat is Duque, with 2 months.(at the time)They are always fighting , but they sleep at the same bed!
As I said,ALWAYS fighting!

Those photos were taken in December, the dog is the same way, but the cat is bigger(and now the fights are getting better and better!), and he loves Armorama:

Well, Antonio started it. Here are my best mates. We lost Bandit and Stella last this past year. Stella had a heart condition (7 years - the vet only gave her a 1 year chance as a pup), Bandit developed cancer in his pancreas and liver shortly thereafter. (10 years). My daughters are doing fine thank God. The new addition to our family is Samantha, we got her through a rescue group. We didn't like to be without a dog. I was really quite fond of my Bandit.

Stella, Kate and Bandit

Kate, Samatha and Karoline all ready for the 4th of July festivities.

Here's Ben our terrier x we think he's either part Lake-land or Border terrier he's 8 now and a real handful,

Ben hillwalking this year He's got a heart murmur but that doesn't stop him

this is Tyff, shes a lurcher x with a greyhound we call her the mutt slut she does this to every one so she can have her belly rubbed but I'm thinking she may have Nazi sympathies as shes giving the sieg heil in this snap

heres them together he hates other dogs and wants to fight with them but is great with her for some strange reason
both dogs are rescue dogs from this charity who work very hard and its a shame to see the state some dogs come into the centers due to mistreatment by their owners

This is Radar:

The guy we got him from said he was a dachshund/beagle mix ... now he weighs 130 pounds and we have determined he's probably a bloodhound/lab mix. You can't hide anythng from that nose. He's the "baby" of our family at five years of age and is subordinate to all four of our cats. He's very vocal and makes a wild variety of sounds -- he snores, grunts, growls, grumbles ... he bays, he howls, he has a "special" bay he only uses for the mailman ... doesn''t bark much, though.

I don't think I could build without company.

Crystal has been helping me for 14 years.

Tiger & Rascal have been with me for a year now.

And all three think they are in charge.

Cool thread. Good to see more animal lovers here These are my "kids" the one on the left is my boy Mongo, 11 years and the one on the right is my girl Tasha, 13 years. Mongo is a collie/Sheppard mix and Tasha is a Australian Sheppard/wolf hybrid. I rescued her from a pound in Texas the day they were going to put her down. I have had her for 11 years now as with Mongo who found us 11 years ago. Tasha was bred to be a cattle dog. The problem was she did her job too well. If a calf would stray and would not listen to her barks of commands she would tackle the calf. Sometimes this would end with the calf breaking a leg and this is not a good thing for the rancher. So she was giving up to the pound. Since she is a big dog no one would adopt her. I found out about her and ran down to get her. She and Mongo have been very faithful companions all these years and are very protective of my wife.

Isn't this fun!
This is "Ketcher", a toy poodle, not my kind of dog when we first got her, but now it would be hard to part with her. Very gentle wouldn't hurt a fly, but I finally taught her how to "wrestle" after 8yrs of trying

I've tried 3 times to put a picture of Beauregard into my gallery with no positive results. Anywa, , he was a blue chow (dark gray). I inherited him from my isiter when he was about three, it seemed he wasn't too pleased about the birth of my niece. Besides as my sister said "He likes you best". He had a heart condition and was projected to live to about 7. I took excellent care of him. He died a couple of years ago at aged 15. I still miss him terribly and he comes around once in a while to "check-up" on me. As soon as I get job stable I plan to add a new child to my family. Everyone who knows me well can tell you all about him. He will be a black and tan German shepard named Fritz.
