Just a reminder that this forum is called "General Modeling". Not general banners, general my life, general how's the weather, etc.

Also I would like to ask those doing banners for people and the like (which I think is really great btw) to move those "Calling X" topics to the Junk Drawer. You may need to PM them to make sure they are opted-in for the Junk Drawer so keep that in mind or they may not see their name called out.

Thanks,
Jim

PS: General Modeling forum mods please remember to MOVE non-modeling related topics to the proper forum. ~Thanks

Thanks for doing that Jim...

What if I want to promote a "copying pages of modeling books for personal use and not for profit" type thing? Where would you suggest I place that?

hehe

Cheers Jim!

I think reaffirming the Forum distinctions is overdue... e.g. a lot of basic painting questions aren't going into Painting & Airbrushing...

It's easier to answer questions if you know where to look for them...

All the best

Thanks Jim...
Will do in future....
However...as per usual..lol...I have a question.
I understand that I should from now on post personal banners in Junk Drawer...but what about "site official" requests for awards designs etc?
Should these also go to JD or in Central Campaign?

Cheers and thanks

For campaign related stuff, yes Campaign Central would be best. I just want to avoid Site Talk being a list of "Calling X" etc. etc.

Thanks,
Jim

Hi all

I am a 23 year old Modeler from good old South Africa. I reside in Potchefstroom in the North West Povince and I am currently busy with my M.Eng (Masters in Mechanical Engineering) at our local Varsity.

I love to build models with an IDF content, mostly armor but an aircraft once in a while.

I am also interested in SA and Isreali military history and devour any books I can get my hands on.

Welcome Aboard Theunis,
Nice to meet you, and looking forward to getting to know you better.
Perhaps you should introduce yourself over in the introduction fourm. You probably would get a better response.
