Hi
I noticed one of PvtParts excellent figures bore a stricking resemblance to a certain Mrs Nora Batty....
....it beggars the question..."was she a German spy?"
Cheers
Peter

Wouldn't like to be the cop that questioned her - could be dangerous for the inquisitor!

Hi Peter
We occasionally see model in dubious taste on Armorama, but Nora Batty!! Now I'm scared!!
I don't normally believe in censorship, but in this case... for the good of humanity...

LOL.... all this talk about Nora, made me do a google for her....
since I never heard of her. Amazing what an education you can get, found it rather interesting that she has been playing the same role for so many years.
And yous guys (That's Joisey for you guys) are right, the figure sure does look like her!!!!!!
Somehow I think the sculptor is a fan of the show, and the actress who plays her. What better tribute than to do a miniture figure of her.
Now I wonder how many other "Yanks" will take the time to find out who Nora Batty is.
I also found an interesting photo site during the search..... not military, or porn, just some outstanding photos, here's a link to Nora's house, couldn't get it to work, so copy and paste.

Hi...
Further to Grumpyoldmans amazing research...
Nora Batty is a character from a BBC comedy.
Centred on a little Yorkshire village where basically 3 old men who no longer work for one reason or another wander around the village and the neighbouring countryside and have adventures....
The man on the right is Compo...the only man brave enough to confront Nora Batty...he was the thorn in her side.
Cheers
Peter
