Remember my girflfriend who lets me buy models at Hobby Lobby and helps me paint them?

Well, I married her Friday before last. I mentioned it in the Hobby Lobby Sale thread and only Logan's Dad saw it.

Brenda and I are quite happy together and will be driving up to NJ for a week to visit my little sister. We are leaving tonight.

I saw that in the Hobby Lobby thread too. I thought you married her a while ago. Congrats. My ex liked model building....still does she wants those HUMVEE's I'm trying to pick up on the Korea run. So do what you can to encourage her interest, I know it sure helped me. Went to model shows and bought what I wanted and as long as she got something too she was happy as a clam.

Hey folks,

We are back in Georgia now. It was pure hell while we were there. Beth (my little sister) is 90% paralyzed and needs almost constant attention. I now have the deepest respect for the health care workers. Before, I just feared them because they took blood.

What do you do when you are going through modeling withdrawl and your sister wants to watch 8 hours of Lifetime television? Yup, you watch 8 hours of Lifetime television with her. I had to wash all the estrogen off of me. I still feel guilty for not having ovaries.

My wife and I concocted our plan of making a cupcake "as big as" Beth's head. Brenda made 12 cupcakes and frosted them together. The look on Beth's face was priceless as she dug into it with her left hand. Yes, I handed her a wet paper towel and then a dry one and then gave her some water and helped her clean up. But still, it was priceless.

Thanks for all the good vibes you all sent our way. It was nice to chuckle again.
