Anyone out there interested in creating Canadian Ranks? They are available to download from the DND website, or we could create them. CADPAT for the army, light blue fo the Air force and navy ranks of course.

I think the CADPAT ones might be a little hard to see. Certainly the examples on the DND site are the correct size already and would require only little tweaking for use on Armorama.

Would love some Canadian Ranks.
I have provided Jim a link to the DND site with the ranks in the past.
He said something about once he got the German ranks done he would look at it....we will just have to wait and see.

I should have very little to do in the evenings on my trip to Kingston. I will try and tune up the graphics and let Jim know when they're ready. It will be a month before I'm back home... so wait out please.

Canadian ranks would not be a bad thing, since we do seem to have a few of us here at Armorama.

That looks great! I think we should go that route for army ranks.

Mike,
That's really good, for a liar. :-)
If I might suggest, if you could lighten up the shades of the colours a bit it would be easier to determine the pattern. It might not be absolutely kosher on the colours, but as it is, it's very hard to distinguish the pattern at all on the image you posted.
Just my 2 cents and I'd use them as they are if they were available.

Even though I'm still low on the totem pole, I think it would be a cool idea! I'm in.

Here's an officers version. Is Cadpat what everyone wants or is it CF's #1 what you guys are looking for?
Cheers,
Bryan

I'd Like "ENGINEERS", but we probably won't be able to include every variation. CANADA may have to suffice.

Yes Paul "ENGINEERS" would be pretty good too.If I remember correctly we had that on our CF and Work dress epaulets at one time, most of that stuff went out to the road when I retired.
I guess if we all stick to "CANADA" at least the rest of the Armorama gang will get the point of who we are.

All the old shoulder titles are now produced in CADPAT. Even a few new ones.

I lightened up the CADPAT background some, and chose a different, more diverse section of the pattern. I will post a sample later this week. I also have examples of the Navy and Airforce ranks, as well as the pre-unification ranks.

As promised... an example of Sgt ranks in 75, 65, and 50 pixel widths. The average ranks used on Armorama are 50 pixels wide.
The officer ones should be done this weekend. I still have some work to do on the NCMs.

I'll have the images ready soon. I still have to contact Jim and ask him if he will add them to the site.

On behalf of all the other Canadians, thanks for taking this on. I'm sure Jim will support us on this endeavour.
