Hi!

I'm working onto 3 models: a KV-2 Captured version for "vehicles", a scene in urban contest and a trench section for "dioramas"... all in 1/35.

Best regards!

I'm changing my scratchbuilt 1:16 M35 (see pics on link below). The intention is to add a fuel cell with pumping system.
During the past weekend, I ripped out the shelter that was on the back of the M35 and replaced that with a normal truck cargo bed. Most of the cell and the pump are done already, I guess another month or two and we"re done.
When all is assembled, I'll repaint the whole thing into other colour scheme (desert shield ? ).

And Now it's my turn: Just completed the Tamiya M-60A1 kit and am starting the prelim's on an Academy Kit Merkava-II. After that I plan on doing a T.F.T. ( Thats Trade Federation Tank for you that are not familiar eith that.) which should only take about a day or two. Andf then I have a couple of
German WW-2 tanks lined up to be started. So I have plenty to keep me busy for the couplke of momnths. I am also planning on buying a Tamiya Leo -2 A5, As well as a M2A2, and then some Soviet Armor in the near future. BUT then there are a couple of Aircraft sitting in the wings wating to be done.

90% complete on the construction of the DML jagdtiger with Aber upgrade.
Next project will either be the Tri-Star Panzer I or the tamiya early tiger with tank workshop interior and aber upgrade set

On the workbench:
1. "Hutwarming" dio figures and equipment to do, base finished.
2. 122H63 gun by Skif with a figure and fibre optics (!) gun display
3. T-20 Komsomolets (AER) with gun crew and 45mm AT gun (ICM). Gun crew modified from GDR Army motorized rifles (ICM)
4. "Got a Light?", winter war theme with T-38 (AER) and two Finns going to blow it up with a satchel charge. Figures modified from Dragon German Ski Troops.

I guess these will keep me busy a day or two...

First post! Been a lurker for a few months already

1. Staring at Tamiya's Brummbar. It's almost complete. I still have to paint the tracks and the pioneer tools.
2. Still haven't got the guts to push DML's Kettenkrad aside. Might be repainting it when I get the time.
3. Planning to get Academy's Wirbelwind. Off topic: Is this a nice kit? Can't find a review anywhere. Costs half as much as Tamiya's offering. :-)

Older kit that is a poor copy of Tamiya's old Wirbelwind.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I've learned a lot from this community.

Thanks for the heads up, Sabot! So that's why they're selling at half a Tamiya's price! Their box arts also look very much alike! Will look around for another project. For a modeller of my skill level I feel that Academy's kits are the way to go. They're relatively cheap (I think around $10 for a Merkava with the current rate of 50 pesos to 1 dollar) and the quality is good. I heard they have a factory around here somewhere. What are the chances that they will release a Famo? #:-)

The Merkava's a good kit. It was one of the last ones Academy did that were either directly copied or improved but based heavily on the Tamiya kit. Most of their kits starting with the Merkava II and M48A5/K Patton and later are nice kits of their own "design".
