i rally love to try this game. i know some friends and collegues who are hook to this game. some of them modified thier guns and replaced the kit with true parts!!! still, fire bb pelets. i missed one last year, we supposed to play gotcha but work gets in the way. planning to have one this summer (uk season). the gotcha pellets are much bigger than the bb's and hurts like hell!!! pasa na sinlaki ng kamatis pagtinmaan ka. i hope to join you as well.

Guys,

Is the Marpat Digital Camo available here in Manila and where can it be bought? I used to buy my BDUs (lower garments only) in Baguio Maharlika whenever 'm there (layo ano). Muntik ko nga ngang bilhin iyong sa Pulis buti na lang nasabi sa akin ng tindera.. :-)

Alright!!! Thats the spirit! Nothing like experiencing what you build on the desk.

Jomz,

Youre in! Hehehehe! But remember, most of us are new in this sport, so please be gentle.

Guys,

We plan a patrol this coming 20th. We may start at around 10 or after lunch if thats too early.

P600 will get you an M-4 Carbine (like the one Im carrying), 600 or so rounds, a face mask, and a vest. All you need to bring is a BDU if you like.

Games usually last about 15 mins (which is an eternity if youre lugging around your gear and a weapon, believe me). And then breaks in between of about 10 mins each (we usually take longer than that; skip a few rounds, catch our breaths, hehehe!).

Venue will be the uncompleted mall in Shaw Boulevard facing Star Mall. 3rd Floor. Ill keep you guys posted.

And, most importantly: whatever you do, DO NOT FORGET TO BRING WATER! There might be someone selling water there, but dont ever leave that to chance. Hehehehe!

Warthog,

Marpat arrives every now and then. Last I heard a set costs around P2,300. There is a set available in Shangrila (although the commercial variant --- Milspec IIRC) and it costs waaaay more.

Jeremy,

Dau is a great place to buy stuff. Round these parts Quiapo (along Quezon Boulevard, along Isetann) would appear to be your best bet.

Shonen,

Shall I sign you up? Im not shining my boots this time. Makes it harder to run. hehehehe!

So, see you guys?

Cool!! I like your get up Buck. I'd like to try airsoft sometime. P600? I guess that is affordable. I use to have an airsoft pistol before. By the way just a suggestion regarding bringing water, try the Camelback hydration system it would be very convenient. The Marines use it in Iraq.

SR: Don't shine your boots! Nothing shiny when you go out on patrol.

Jeremy47: I buy BDUs in Maharlika Baguio...diretso lang ng Session road. Marami doon camo iba iba...pati vest. ingat ka lang kasi iyong iba dito na gawa pero imported and materials, sasabihin naman nila iyon....ako nakabili ako ng olive drab na tropical na local lang.. Buck is right meroon nga sa Quiapo, I forgot lang the place....but...napansin ko sila lang ang tumatahi...

Buck: Wow, ang mahal naman P2,300

River: Siguro meroon na sa Baguio, kasi according to them they get their supplies from California.

Gusto ko nga bumili nung Camelback na yon. Sobrang mahal daw sabi ng mom ko. Very useful sana pag hiking. As double purpose, pwede mo pang gamitin while on the move (war games). Just pull out the straw :-) :-) :-)

BTW, Buck. Are the scenarios fixed. Is it possible to have a scenario where we don't needs BDU's (like for example, we can play the traditional cops and robbers) thing. A mock raid by cops on a mock drug den, etc.

I've got my Maruzen S&W 4504 airsoft pistol sitting in my closet.

I was once a member of an airsfot shooting club. But we rarely did wargames. We were more into IPSC shooting (like what Bon Jovi does).

Make no mistake, Paul. Those itty-bitty bb pellets can hurt too. Para kang pinitik ng maraming beses. To be hit by a paintball is like being punched.

You mean mas masakit pa ang paintball??? I've been playing paintball many time and I've been hit mostly in the arms and one time, in the head.
