I've got a whole stash of Airfix. If you accept newbies, I would be happy to join in.

I've been wanting to build this since the first Airfix campaign, and - well, you know.
As part of an Air Pacific fleet project
post card in my collection - Nadi airport (NAN) Fiji c.1975
I've even mostly finished designing decals for it.
the fleet would eventually include an HS748 and DeHavilland Heron

As if.. As it I didn't already have 24 hanger queens on the bench. I've identified and located 2 candidates for this, a bagged Brewster Buffalo and a Craft Master boxing of a TBM.

Tell you what Mark, I will trade some kits or HQ's that I have for any that you have like that F4F.

LOL Bob I think you have a thing for Wildcats. Think I do too. Best of my recollection, I've got 5 F4Fs in the stash. A Hobby Boss 1/72 F4F-3, and four F4F-4s; Entex (with folding wings that fold the wrong way), Academy, DML with folding wings and the new tool Airfix kit. All in 1/72. Not sure I want to give any of them up...

A big range, anything will be fun.

Mark, I started looking for some 1/48 F4F kits and there are not too many at a reasonable price so Ill wait. OH! your F4F collection is safe, I could not hold or see the parts in that scale (1/72) even with my magnifying hood

I might pull my Airfix 1/24 Typhoon from WTO campaign and put it in here and replace it with Eduard's FW190F-8.

I'm starting to think of the Airfix Type 45 destroyer which would be a gift for the local Sea cadets. I know a young lad who attends there and they are affiliated with HMS Duncan, one of the RN's type 45's.

the campaign will be a nice range of subjects.
I just noticed the link to my Air Pacific 1-11 card is private.
here is the card and the beginnings of my decal art work.

Kits should be not be started before the start date of the Campaign, in this case 1 June 2017. So completed kits cant be entered.

Yup I'm in time to build one of my 1/24 scale Stukas perhaps?

Count me in! Probably with "Rommel's Half-Track", but I'm not promising that! I'm primarily a wingy-thing kit assembler, so armour is out of my comfort zone . . .
