Well, that would usually be "the last one I just finished!"
In straight up kit perspective - Tamiya's 88 is it.

My thoughts are the same as Scott's; however, I do like the newer Revell 1/72 scale M1A1 and M2A2. I could build a battalion's worth of these little kits.

Hi, as the other posters, it would be the last one I happened to successfully build, or buy for that matter. Been real pleased with Tamiya's M1 w/mine plow and the Bradley kits. I hardly build any post W.W.II AFVs and I am real happy as to how these turned out. And am real happy with Dragon's re-release of their E-100 kit that I'm currently fooling with too. And I've been real happy as well with what I've completed on Trumpeter's K5 railway gun so far.
Now if I was to look into the furture here a tad bit I will hope that one of my favorite kits will be Trumpeter's new 1/16 scale T-34 with interior when it comes out here before too long.
And I could list others, but this will be enough I think.
Take care, Sgirty

Tamiya T-55. By far the best kit I have ever built - and it looks not-bad too! Worth every centavo (my mom) paid!

Have to agree with the others about the kit you are working on, or just finished.
Dragons Scud launcher always stands out in my head.... it was so difficult ... needed a lot of filling and patience.. gaps ... bad fit ... you name it! But when it was finished I was so proud ot it. Still looks impressive in my model cabinet!

I am usualy happy with what I am working with at that time also. But I have to admit, I do have a soft spot for the Academy 1/35 M-12 155 mm SPG. Realy enjoyed building that kit !
Oh, and one more, Tamiya's 1/350 Battleship King George V, Cant wait to build its sister ship Prince of whales.
Cheers mates,

I also agree that my favorite kit is whatever I'm working on now. Some of the ones that stand out for me are
Academy's A-37 Dragonfly. I am building a few fo these, because I received a decal sheet with several different sets of markings for international dragonflies. Nice kit.
Hasegawa's P-47 THunderbolt. I always likedthe "Jug" and this is a decent kit.
Eduard's Albatros DVa Nice little kit.
Revell (Germany) Fokker F-13 I love the real plane, and the kit is pretty sweet too. Needs abit of creative file work on the corrugations to make everything smooth out, but it is a pretty nicel build out of the box. Throw some details on it, and you have a real winner.
Revell's 1/25 '32 Ford 3W coupe, Highboy Roadster, and Speedwagon. The same basic chassis in three body styles. Not military, but what a nice kit. Simple enough to build several, and every one can be different from the last. Buy a couple of each and mix up the parts between them. (Fendered roadster anybody?)

Working right now on it and finding major pleasure , the Academy 1/35 Huey UH-1C Gunship Vietnam Era. Plenty of room for improvements, very nice detail, many spare parts to be left, and a very nice kit allover

Such a small question. Such a huge answer.
There have been many....but 4 kits that gave probably the most satisfaction are Planets 1/72nd Focke Wulf Entwurf P.0310251-13/II and Arado Projekt ll and Unicrafts 1/72 nd Me P1109 Kobra and Bv P178.
Cheers

My favourite kits would be Tamiya's 1/48 spitfire Mk1a and Bf 109E. Both are a joy to build and are dificult to mess up on.

Hello,
Just like everyone else I would have to agree that it is the kit that you are currently working on or have just finished, why else would you build it. But my favorite kits are the Accurate Armour Challenger II Op Telic (finishing it now), the Academy Early Tiger 1 with full interior and the Tamiya Leopard II.

Right now, my K-5. For two reasons. First, it's HUGE! and gives me a chance to mix and match some figures, and add lots of stuff. Second, and most importanty, because my girlfriend actually bought it for me!! she made sure it was the last gift I opened at Christmas. I'm known at the local hobby shop as "the guy whose girlfriend bought the K5 off the wall"!
I don't mean to rub it in for anyone who has their modeling time restricted, etc. etc. I'm sure she'll hold it over my head soon enough.

For me, my all time favorite has always been the old Tamiya M3 "Lee". Even though it's woefully old, and a bit inaccurate, I still love it. I've built 5 of these since I discovered it.

My favorite scale is 1/35 maybe 1/350, But since coming to this site I have found a fondness for 1/35 scale M1A1 Abrams. These guys here can produce a massive info on it and just started my M1 a few days ago and I am reading and studing the forums and galleries alot.
Some people here can produce a musem piece. My 2nd would be the Hummer any version I have 10 of them now, I just found out that there are 10,000 hummers in Iraq right now give or take a few that sorrly got hit. My they rest in peace and honor.
Happy :-) Modeling
