Hey Guys,
Ok what exactly is plasticard and where can I get some .I heard of some modellers using it to make stencils and molds for dio 's.So where can I get a hold of this product.

Evergreen Styrene is sold in most hobby stores, they usually have a rack with all Evergreen products: sheets, rods tubes, much more :-) :-) :-)

Slaters make it in UK and its available from Hannants.
And Squadron have it too.
Plus as Paul said it should be available at most good model/hobby shops.
Once you know what it is, you could find similar material used in packaging....one post from Merlin I think mentioned it was used in a smoked salmon pack. And I've seen it used in the packs for shirts.

Dude, go to your local gas station and ask them for pump topper signs, it's styrene plastic card material, and free! They usually get new signage every 3 months.

Maybe it's just me here but does ayone find the packets of card really expensive?? I was quite suprised to learn their cost....and to think you'd want a few packets to start off (different sizes). Gee i sound cheap

Both Platistruct and Evergreen have "assortment packs" of sheet, rod and strip. Pick up a pack or two of these and you'll figure out what you will use the most.
