@Gonzalo: I like 3-colored scheme on this AH-1W. Go on...

Progress is slow, but steady. There has been a lot of painting to do in the cabin and engine bay, before putting the fuselage halves together, but I got there in the end.
This is just one bank of cargo seats, each one has 8 separate pieces of PE on it. It was a bit of a nightmare to put together, but I think it was worth it.

With just a month to go, it's time to get the hammer down a bit. I hope there are a few more people still out there! The interior is more or less done, time to crack on with the exterior. Cheers!

It's the first time I see the strange shape on your heli. Hope it will be finished.
I've met a trouble with my 1/72 UH-34.

Lee, I hope you survived the PE ordeal-- in 1/72 scale, those seats are awesome.
eMan, I agree with Mr. K, that's an odd shape. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Mr. K, hopefully that canopy turns up soon, but I've been curious to see how that A-Model Piasecki kit goes also.
cheers!

Cheers Sean! Just spent the last few days adding detail to the exterior, and now I'm finally ready to put some primer on. Here are a couple of pics taken just before I started spraying. You can see the amount of PE on the surface. The pale grey-green parts are resin.
In a rather cool bit of serendipity, as I was working on this Merlin, two of the 1-1 scale Merlins flew over my house!
Cheers Everybody!

.....Aaaand I'm done! This has been a fun build, a reasonably nice kit, enhanced with all the available aftermarket options. I am pretty happy with the weathering, which closely matches some photos I have seen of Merlins operating in Afghanistan.
Cheers Everybody! I hope to see a few more choppers in the campaign gallery - it is looking a bit bare at the moment!

Is this one done? It's not listed on the Campaign Section any more, but no ribbons awarded.
Anyway, some nice looking whirly-birds. Nice pushes to the end guys.

Yes, it's done. Sorry I missed the ribbons; it's a holiday here today. Let's go take a look in the campaign gallery shall we?
Anyone else who finished and didn't get their model into the gallery, now's your chance. Just let me know when it's posted.

Okay, I'm back and I've awarded all the ribbons I can. BoiseBlade, I'm sorry, but I can't find your name in the list of enlisted participants
Congratulations for finishing, but I can't give you a ribbon when you're name isn't in the list.
