Roo, is going to hate me for this, but the eccentric Australian (and his trucks of course) have just made into print. In the new edition of MILITARY MODELCRAFT INTERNATIONAL there is an article on building trucks by a certain Mr. Cliff Hutchings (better known to the rest of us, Interpol, the F.B.I. and the Girl Scouts Of Australia) under his alias of 'Mr. Roo' . So ladies and gentlemen, will you all raise your glasses (of Australian Sherry) in salute to Roo and his foray into print..... Cheers mate! Jim

Congrats Cliff,
getting in the "mag" is worthy of a "slab of Tinnies" and some "gum boots."

That is too cool, I find myself looking at the names of article/tip/photo in magazines hoping to recognize them.
This is cool

I must admit to being a little surprised to see this post and am 'humbled' by all your responces and best wishes.

All I can say is thank you because it is with the members support of Armorama that I have had the encouragement to do this type of thing

CONGRATS Roo/Cliff I think its very cool to have people in mags and on the forum
as one.
I met Gary Edmundson from Europe at AMPS 03 who published an article in the April 03
issue of Military in Scale on the Grille. It was an excellent 2 pt article and to see the real model and meat the person was a rememorable experiance.
This is an excellent acomplishment. !!!!!

Howdy Mr. Roo,

A hearty Congratulations goes out to you sir!!! My local hobby shop gets magazines on a 'hit and miss' basis usually, but, I will make a point of searching this issue out, so I can tell all my friends and associate's......"I've talked to that guy!"....."Yeah, he and I go waaaaaaaaay back!".......His missus and my missus went to different schools together, no kidding!"...... #:-)

Good on ya mate!!

Tread.

Well it was worth waiting for, my copy of Military Modelcraft International has just arrived and with it, as an added bonus is Cliff's (Mr. Roo's) article on converting the Italeri GMC water tanker into a GMC-CCKW. The edition in question is December, and as an added bonus, this is part 1, so obviously part 2 etc. will be coming soon....Jim
