You gurus of plastic and paint might want to try posting some pics of your work in the other forums Show them what we got!!!

Jeepney, Oh yes. Manong's Fishballs masarap talaga!
Will do pare, once i got the photos.

Wanze,
Yup. They're holding seminars but I think it's in the main branch in Pasig.
Or if you want, we can conduct a seminar on basic casting and mould making in our monthly meetings. There are members who are willing to share their techniques and stuff about resin.

Liebgott,

Hey! it would be great if the master casters can do that for us one of these days. I look forward to it. The added skill will add another dimension to my future AFV's.

First off, I would like to thank Jeepney, his lovely fiancee and Fritz for gracing the meeting last Sunday at UP. And a warm welcome as well for being the newest members of IPMS Phils.-BAC. As already mentioned in this forum and at the IPMS Phils. -BAC message board, Fritz' models were fantastic. Some of us usually stay behind even after everyone has gone home(Guarnere, Liebgott, Webster, Hunter Buck and myself)and we were talking specifically about Fritz and likening ourselves to him. The conclusion, none of us were building that well at 14! So Fritz, the future is bright, so you gotta wear shades

The IPMS Phils.-BAC site has been updated, along with a lot of quality photos care of Albert Labrador, so you might want to check them out. I agree that some of the works of the others should be posted at sites like this one to showcase what Filipino modelers can do. We've been trying for years to break into FSM with very little success. Only Desi's work YEARS AGO was featured in the gallery, and some models by Noli Yamsuan. That's it. Really puzzling.

I hope to see more new faces in future meetings, as it would be nice to see the family grow. And that's what it's all about - a family of modelers. Skill is not a factor. Not everyone is a Buck, Guarnere, Webster, Katze, Bigman and Liebgott. I am living proof that there are "normal" modelers in the club hehehe Think of it this way, if you're an F1 fan, Team Minardi has an ice cube's chance in hell of winning the championship against the likes of Ferrari, McLaren and BMW. But the fact that they are still running alongside the "supercars" is already something to be proud of.

Hope to see you guys on Sunday Model on!

Liebgott,
Wazzup! Glad you stepped out of the bushes, weapons drawn.

Jeep,
Counterstrike? I havent done that in ages. Last time I played it was version 1.3 (and I beat the living crap out of Liebgott and his friend). "Rusty" might be an understatement.

V-300 for a bridal car? Hmm... If I remember correctly MASH (aka Jepot) is with the Marines. Maybe we can arrange something...

El Jefe,
Fabulous work on the site. My eyeballs almost popped! Welcome aboard, Bossman.

Shonen,
And we really wish to see you soon. If you're free on the 7th...

Bull,
Amen to that, brother. Modelers are one big family.

Welcome to the site Bossman! Thanks for the site update. Post some of those pics here too!

Well said Bull! As I finish my SdKfz 232 8-rad I keep Fritz's Famo in mind and try to at least apply 10% of the detailing he put on it. That kid's got talent and with modelers like him the future looks bright.

No joy on the P-51D yesterday buck! Natalie only had the Academy P-51C on the shelf.

If you guys need help posting pics here just ask around. This site might not be FSM but it gets a lot of exposure too.

Jeep,

You can post it on the ygroup. Maybe some of the ladies has one up for disposal. Tell you what, if I come across one I'll swipe it for you. And then GI can defend me in court. Hehehe.

GI & Shonen,

How about Contra? #:-) #:-) #:-)

Buck: Sure! I have no problems in defending you in court (this from a guy who is just somewhat-in-his-third-year-of-law-school). Just as long as you don't kill me if we lose the case. Hey, at least I'll be disbarred forever because I practiced law without taking the Bar exams!

I really can't get enough of this kid! We had the pleasure of Fritz' company once again at the meeting held today, Dec.7 at UP CFA. He brought a 1/16th German figure(not sure what that exactly was) and it was GREAT! Everyone present appreciated his skills, we even had to ask ourselves "What were we doing at age 14?!" I'm sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it on the 28th, but I'll definitely see you again on the 20th.

Model on!

I dunno about you guys but at that age, I was busy plotting on how to rule the world. Now all plans are coming to fruition! MWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yiheeeee, si Fritz may fans club!

Fritz, do please come on the 20th. You didn't bring any of your valued specimens last time we met in Op. LILS. I'm really interested in your figures. :-)
