Gentlemen,

I'm looking for 2 models 1/35. These are :

1) Bedford OY (every possible version)
http://www.track-link.net/gallery/2042
2) CWT Chevrolet "Van" (and specifically NOT the Italeri "pick-up-thing")

You're going to have to go with resin aftermarket conversions to build these, unless you're up for some scratchbuilding. If you do a Google search for the trucks you seek, you'll find plenty of photos of restored vehicles.

You may also want to search the Missing Lynx site -- I know there have been several threads on these vehicles in the Allied Vehicles forum.

Good luck!

FuBu504, welcome aboard!

If you go to the link below, to Track-Link's gallery you can view three different versions of the Bedford modeled by Alex Hill. The MV, OY, and the QL. These are from three different manufacturers, Resicast, Accurate Armor, and Matador Models.

I'm still looking for a van...

I assume you guys are refering to the radio HUP bodied CMP when you refer to a Chev "VAN" of which there is no such thing. If this is the case CMK or one of the eastern manufacturers does a HUP conversion for the Italeri 15CWT "PICKUP THINGY".

Also I am, as Roo Resin, going to be releasing a CMP F60L #12 cab CMP full resin kit in about 4 months. (in simple terms a Canadian Military Pattern LWB Ford 3 ton general service with the early cab (like the Tamiya Quad Gun Tractor).) Price TBA. This will also have a motor in it. Once this is released other body types will be added mainly of Australian versions of the CMP in both early #12 cab & later #13 cabs(Italeri 15CWT) including Tipper, and #6 (Aust) bofers truck and possibly some 3 ton "Van" bodies for the trucks.

Airfix used to do a Bedford QL Gun Portee in their 1/35th range, which was probably a re-boxing of a Max/Peerless kit, but it was the version with the canvas roof. The only steel roof QL I know of is the Resicast one.

I think that Italeri made a bedford. I can swear that I saw it in 35 scale at the hobby shop a week or two ago.

The Italeri kit is a reissue of the Peerless/Max Bedford gun portee. Very nice kit for its age, but you need to come up with a six-pounder to put on the back. I believe the original issue had the gun included in the kit.

Italeri put out both the Bedford Gun Portee....and the Chev 15 CWT....they are both old Peerless/Max kits....and both used to come with what is now the Italeri 6 pdr gun....Italeri bought up the moulds and seperated them instead of giving you both in 1 kit.......a way to get people buying more I guess.
As far as the HUP version or the HUW version....Plus Models makes both conversions.....they also make some conversions for the Bedford....I have the HUP and it's really nice but you do need to find the original kits to convert.
Good luck
