Hello everyone,
I am new to site and have not been modeling that long. I would assemble armor models when I was younger, spent 8 years in the Army, and have recently started again. One of the main resons I have joined the web site is that I want to open a military model shop in Houston TX, and am using alot of the information from current members as a type of market research. If you want the best info, ask those that are the best........

Welcome aboard XMechGrunt. We're glad you found us.
Good luck with the hobby shop. My wife and I have been planning one for a little over a year now. Lots of work, but lots of fun too.

Welcome to the BEST modeling site on the web. I envy you your hobby shop plans. My dream is to have a combination book store, hobby shop, cafe. A dream is probably all it will ever be but it's nice to dream.

Welcome from a fellow Texan... I hope all goes well with your dream of a hobby shop. It's going to be a doozie. Keep on trucking on the model building, I'm sure that you'll "get back in the swing of it".. (++)

Welcome from another Texan, and I don't know about Houston, but we could use a real class model shop up here in the Dallas aera. Phil's shut down in July, and all we're left with is ones that mainly focus on trains and either R/C cars or the collectable NASCAR ones

Hi there XMechGrunt :-)

Welcome to Armorama!! :-) This place really is the best!! :-)

Good luck with the store - Real model shops are too few and far between - there are none in my town

I'd love to run one... but I know I'd end up "building the profits"... :-)

All the best

Glad to have you aboard.

What is the name that you had in mind for your new shop?

I am curious!
