I did my first bit of scratchbuilding earlier this month, adding a few very basic interior details to Tamiya's StuG III B. Later this months I'll be attempting a section of railway line. All very basic stuff, especially compared to what Steve did.

Hi gang, Michael. I got 6(projects) for the year. A tr-85( an old hold-over), the 9 pcs for EoD, A cuda-bodied viper, the PJ's (113 variants), Puds( pizarro/ulan/dardo) and ersatz MBT-70. EoD is really a warm-up for everything else.
I'll be trying out a bunch of techinics/ ideas that new to me.
,Michael.

I'm planning a armored up semi-truck for the EOD campaign. Twin steering front axles, tank tracks in the back with a 16' flat bed hauling an armored 71' Cuda'.
Actually, everything I build has at least a tiny amount of scratchbuilding involved with it.

My goal is to finish the GMC #7 wrecker that I have been working on forever. Not much progress since the last posting other than adding some lettering the the very nice Archer surface details.

Gonna do an armed up house boat for EOD, might get around to making a ridiculously large tank from an old video game that I used to play but probably not until 2011.

Going to build a receiver Fu.H.E.u1 and antenna Fu.NP.Ea/c for a 250/3. For us that had no clue, it's a radio directional receiver and antenna that the Germans used for trianglating radio signals of the underground forces. Goes into a large dio with two rail tracks and two buildings with complete interiors. Was just an experiment from 12 years ago that just kept growing, and growing and...yhea, you get the idea. Will try to get pics up soon but me and the computer and photo bucket don't see eye to eye.

Hi Ossie & guys,
I'm still in the process of sorting out dad's kits / builds etc.
This year
I'm going to look at some part built projects.
I know they won't be as good as they should be but need to try and finish some of them just to prove his skill has been passed down good enough for me to know I can take on projects of my own.
Still finding kits and projects in boxes so there are plenty to think about.

Hi all,
I'm hoping to completely scratch a 1/35 Alvis Stalwart this year. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. I'm hoping the wheels from a Tamiya Saladin will do?

Hi Everyone
I have scratch built the LVT and the ramp but not sure if accurate. I have posted on a few DG asking for pictures and information as so far I have used my artistic licence to built it to this stage.
All constructive comments are welcomed.

I started this before the Dragon Pz-V Ausf A came out--the lower hull is the Dragon Jagdpanther, with drilled-out suspension, for a versatile display involving groundwork:
