Hi gang!
I'll go to a contest and modeling show this weekend, and I'm really anxious, since I didn't do it for a long time (about 4yrs ago).
I'll take 4 models:
Merkava MK II w/ mine roller (Academy)
T34/76 model 1943 (Tamiya)
MB jeep on the rail (Tamiya converted)
and my latest, EET-1 Osório MBT (Trumpeter)
I'll tell you what happened as soon as I get back home...
Cheers!

If your jeep dosen't take best of show the judges are blind. Being a railroad buff, your model is one of my favorite pics on the site. Best of luck.

Hello everybody! :-)
Thanks for the kind words, and I did a lot of fun out there! The most important thing also, is that I make a lot of contacts and meet a lot of people (some I didn´t see for a long time!).
It also makes me think in making a expo/show in my town (no better way to find people interested in the hobby!), it´s a project for the next september, though!
And last but not least, I did fine....3 of my models received the prizes, and the Jeep made the best Tamiya military kit (offered by Tamiya of Brazil), and the Osório was qualified in third for Brazilian military models...Not so bad!
Thanks again, and it was so fun!

The prize for the jeep doesn't surprise me at all.
Congrats!
