Hello All,
I sure wish I had all the great info this site provides when I was growing up ( Yeah I'm an old guy - 43) Just recently I've been slowly getting back into the hobby.
I've been building scale military models for over 30 years, mostly when I was in my teens and early 20's, and have to say there sure are alot of talented modelers here!

Welcome aboard Torque! We're glad to have you among us. Don't worry, you're not an old guy...only 5 years on me.

Are you working on anything now? Can you show us some of your work?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
Sorry Kencelot, I don't have any pictures of my projects to pass along right now. I'm sure to have some pics of upcoming projects to pass along in the not too distant future.

Welcome aboard and from somene who's been doing this a short while longer that you, you'll be surprised how much you know that will help someone as how much you can learn. We grew up without a lot of these marvelous paints and had to "brew" our own. There were no PE kits back then so we buiklt things out of melted and stretched sprue and what we could find in the toy box.

Just finished a very small plastic kit of the Mayflower with my 3yr old son (my daughters seem to be interseted in it also). Unfortunately two hours later my 1yr old got ahold of it - needless to say the Mayflower is no more. That will teach me to be more careful where I put the finished models.
