Hi there

Can anybody suggest a source for 0000 grade wire wool? Holdfast uses it in his Bf110 feature, but I can't find any... all that's available around here is 0 grade (much coarser).

If not the local hardware store, have you tried an automotive store or auto. garage?

I'll have a look... I think my 0-grade was from a car accessories shop, but I've never thought of looking in the supermarket!

While on the subject of smoothing out paint jobs, I've posted a topic with pics about using Micromesh polishing cloths in the Painting forum.

you can get super fine wire wool from Halfords & B&Q :-)
