Welcome aboard Gluesniffer!
We're all glad to have you on board with us.
Hmmm...the Newbie Oath? Where in tar-nation did that come from? I hereby dismiss that silly oath and grant full access to any question!
Carry on
What kind of models do you like to build?

Hi gluesniffer, welcome Newbies are allowed to make mistakes here, everyone takes time to learn, you don't need an oath, although the thought is appreciated :-)

Thanks, for that nice warm welcome. It's great that you have an open and unbiased approach. I also think it's commendable you guys moderate and participate in a forum like this with great effort. That's why the "newbie oath" . I'm not going to waste your time.
I have a little experience in retail shopping. You could have a 4' sign that says "No checks"
and somebody will come up and ask you to write a check.
There's alot of information sitting here - some great modelers from all over the world. I respect that and will treat it acoordingly.
Thanks again

Porkchop,
Nice of you to ask,
I got a Sgt York painted, - needs to be weathered
A Leopard - (out of box Trumpeter- piece of work) done -needs to be painted
A Hetzer w/PE - half done
And waiting for parts for 4 reconstructions of models I came across
And no time to do it
