hello! found this site awhile ago, only just got round to registering( after some help.thank you the staff here!)i,ve got chicken pox and stuck in quarantine, modelling and t,interneting so its not all bad!the medicinal beer is helping also. fave subjects,ww1 aircraft, fokkers, spads, pfalz, gotha giv are some recent builds.at the minute i,m building an avro 504 trainer. also ww2 a/c allies and axis, i do build modern a/c but prefer stuff pre 1950 then theres the odd ship kit, 1/35 armour, a captain scarlet SPV( try getting p/e for that one!) my philosophy of modelling is this.whatever you build its just different branches of the same hobby.an armour technique CAN be used on aircraft etc.

Welcome to our site. Like you, I'm taking this week off, although I am not sick, just need to "burn up" some leave. Hope you get through the chicken pox all right. I hear that adult males can get complications if they get chicken pox late in life (like sterility). Doctors asked me when my youngest three had chicken pox (I had it as a kid).

At least you have some quality building time ahead of you.

Welcome, son. If you know a trick to spread those chicken pox on Armorama... we'd all like a few days off to model and monkey around on the web. Nice to have you on board.

Welcome! (From one newbie to another). Captain Scarlet!? Boy, that brings back memories. I was probably watching that show while I was suffering with the chicken pox.

You'll enjoy yourself here. These guys (and a few gals, I'm sure) are great.

Welcome aboard and get well. One of the cool things about chicken pox is you get 2 illnesses for the price of one. After you get over this there will always the possibility that sometime latter you will get shingles, which is a reactivation of the chicken pox virus. Those are really pleasant. Had a case this spring. Anywho, enjoy the site.

Couple of medicinal brews for ya... (Who said you shouldn't drink while on medication?)
