Are we allowed to guess what other people on this forum do for a living? I'll wager a thousand dollars that Hisham is an English teacher!

Right now I'm a taste tester for the Miller beer company ................... I'm retired.

I was a telco lineman, cable tv lineman [ back in the days when you hooked poles - pre bucket trucks ], Ma bell splicer , lineman, N.j. bell splicer , lineman, Bell Atlantic splicer , lineman , repairman and installer , and finally Verizon repair and installation type person. Throughout all those years I also tended bar nights in some places I wouldn't sit down and drink in , l.o.l. The go - go bar gigs were the best !!!!
Always worked and played very hard, l.o.l.

I work as a database manager. I construct databases that are used in military simulations (wargames) to train battalion and brigade staff. My group handles the exercises that use a 'game' for the U. S. Army Reserves and National Guard in the SE USA and Puerto Rico. I have been doing this for just over 10 years.

My hobbies of modeling and wargaming go with what I do. I know about the equipment, organizations and how the 'game' works.

After 12 years in a hot, nasty, stinking, back-stabbing hell-hole of a tire plant I am now looking to go back to school (hey, I'm only 49!) to become a caterer.
