Hmm, looks like it's the Crusader for me. I was kind of hoping a mini would be picked since I have quite a bit on my plate through December.

I'm not going to paint it like the boxart, so time to do some research.

Looks like the I-16 for me has the most votes. Now I have to figure out which paint scheme & decals.

Looks as if the Kugelblitz won the day so I will be doing some armour and that is a good thing with all these airplanes flying about.. not sure if it will be like the box or straight out of production without the final paint on it. not really much I can find on this so will see.

Later on today I will post the voting results on whic kit we get to build .
Now I was thinking instead of posting our kits here , we each start our own post .
Any ideas on how to do this with out it being confusing would be great .

I like Kelly's idea of keeping us all in one place.
As for Terri's tie, maybe the ladies can decide the tie?

I have started my I-16 and can post a few pictures when we have our "ladies palace" set up!

Glad we have another lady that has joined the build.

Hello all

I liked the reference to sneaking in under the radar and I wish I could boast of stealth capability but the reality is I've been checking the Air Campaign forum for you ladies not this one! But as that well worn saying goes "better late than never". Looking forward to all the builds but I must warn you one and all that as well as being an internet modelling newbie, I'm also a novice "grown-up" modeler (the kits I made as kid almost thirty decades ago don't count ). The kit for this campaign will be "grown-up" model no. 2; I've just started model no. 1 (a 1:48 P-39 N Airacobra). However that's enough waffle ... my kit list is as follows:

1:48 Hawker Hurricane Mk II C
1:48 Harrier GR Mk 7 20 Sqn RAF
1:48 Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk X
1:72 Avro Lancaster Mk I/III
1:72 TA-7C Corsair II

I eagerly await the outcome of the selection process.

Cheers for now

Emma
