Welcome, Pam. Those are some interesting kits you've got there. I hope you'll enjoy the build, and I look forward to seeing some pics.

I've updated my list above to include my selection for Pam.

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Kelly , That is a very good question ! Does seem that we should have for one
completing our kit on time . Yes the contest does follow campaign rules . Any takes on how to do this would be very helpful .

Hi Shaun and others that have voted so far.
My tally so far is:

La-7 with 2 votes
I-16 Type 24 with 2 votes
Bf 109F-2 with 1 vote

I'm still confused. Do the ladies get to vote for the other ladies or not?

Also, I'm having a hard time holing off on building one of these models as Oct. 1 seems a long way off! I'm passing the time building my first jet, a Hasegawa F-14 in 1/72. It is hard and so many parts that just don't fit exactly! At least it is giving me the opportunity to learn to re-scribe but the rivets are another problem.

Ok, so I am going to post my choices, hope I didn't miss anyone signed up yet.

Penny-A-1H Skyraider US Navy. I was in the Navy and think this is a cool subject. Did you see the move "Rescue Dawn"? He flies one of these before he is shot down.

Kelly-Flakpanzer Kugelblitz. I really like raisin kugel!

Terri-Sopwith Camel, Eduards. Hang on Snoopy.

Wendy- French Napoleonic caricature. I really like his face looks like a lot to work with.

Hi Gals, just clear some things up here . We can pick which model to build for each other for the contest . However , we can not vote for each other ( rule number 3 ) . Only the guys will be able to do this . I 'm sorry about the time frame , but I felt that it would have only be fair to give us enough time to enter and with this being summer most people are away . I'm kicking myself as well for it . I would like to start already as well . Be patient young grass hoppers !

That's a very cool idea for a ribbon, Kelly...one thing to remember, is that the ribbon will have to be re-sized to a maximum of 50 x 50 pixels, with a 1000kb max size to be uploaded and used on the campaign page for awarding...sometimes detailed images turn into a glob of colors when re-sizing (from my own past failures! )...

Fantastic Kelly ! It's awesome ! I thank -you for your aid in this Campaign you play a big part of it , Thanks .

Well Ladies what do you think ? Kelly is really on to something here . Far better then what I would have turned up . Cartoon characters have played a huge roll in aviation through out the years , which it ties in with this Campaign nicely .

Here it is in 46x50 so it meets the criteria ..... Pam Women flew in combat for the Russians even had a few aces. Thanks Mark for letting me know the details I knew that some form of limits existed.

Germany also had at least one female pilot. She was a test pilot.

They ( Military channel ) done a small piece on her when they were talking about Germany's proto-type aircraft.

Found this one with US women delivering a B-17.
I am also practicing inserting a picture in the forum.
