Great entries, Harv, I love simple, functional, ingenious things like this! Thanks for the clamps......once I make them that is

Thanks guys. Like I said, they are not anything too fancy but they work. The plastic card in the clothes pin clamps is made from the plastic "for sale" type signs you can buy at most retail stores. They are cheap and the plastic can be used for several things. I had thought about making some of them in different shapes but I didn't get around to it. Maybe for Build-A-Tool III?
I had more tool ideas planned out but I did my normal thing and waited until the last minute to finish up the campaign. So I will have more things ready to be built for the next campaign.
Thanks again.

I wasn't sure if the campaign had been extended or if it had officially ended.
Just checking.

Hi Matt,
I just saw that you added the ribbon for this campaign to my profile. Thanks.
Thank you for the campaign. I enjoyed it. I am ready for Build-A-Tool III now. I have several ideas and I am ready to get to building. I have made a promise to myself to not wait until the last minute to get something done for the next campaign.
Thanks again.

This is one fo those Campaign themes that should be able to continue on for a good many of sequals.

I'm really stretching a point here- as I built this a couple of years ago -- the brief was to make a modellng desk that looked ok in our lounge - being in a two-bedroom flat (apartment) it's not something I can hide away in another room.
It didn't totally work - it is possible to extend the lid right out (rather than the folded-over position shown) making a bigger worksurface, but it's a little too unstable - and not really needed. I plan to build an easel that will slot into holes in the bottom half of the lid when it's down so I can use it as a painting/drawing desk too.
The junk on the top is partly untidyness but mainly to stop my **^^^%* *^%&£ cats running up it and scratching the front!
One day I'll get round to building drawers for the cubby holes and a large shallow one for the space between the lopes (supports) at the bottom front.
Phase 2 will see a proper cupboard built to support the whole desk (it's currently on a trolley I put hardboard sides on) and also flanking cupboard/bookcases...that's when we've moved to a bigger place!
Cheers

Sorry for the shaky pics! Our PC has finally died a death and that's all I've got the the moment.
