Since I started coming to this site I am spending more and more time reading the interesting posts and responses that you guys put on. Could you please stop as I am not getting any time to do any actual modelling !!!!
(Just kidding, you guys have given me more good advice and help in a few months than I have learned in 25 years of modelling on my own)

Believe me - it gets worse. After a while they persuade you to have your own web site and pool your knowledge for other newbies to look at. Mind you it does have its good side as I have to make models to put on the site :-)
Wouldn't have done it without the guys...

It does get adictive doesn't it. Since I've discovered this site, I visit it 2-3 hours aday. I only work on y kits about an hour now, of course With what I've learned, I am more focused and have gotten some excellent tips and have returned the favor. So it is all worth it, espeially when the questions come from our young people.

Believe me... you are not alone!
As a rule, I have Armorama on in the background all day long at work, refreshing several times a day. Here at home, I check in probably twice during the evening, last time just before I go to bed. Addicted? Na... not me.?
I'll admit that my productivity has slipped some too.
I visit other sites as well, but this is REALLY the best place to hang out at. Enjoy!
Good night.

Our network administrator, a good friend of mine, called me a few months ago and asked what the hell "Armorama" was... hehehe.. he does not care, but he said that it is the highest site on his reports...
I guess that tells you how addicted I am... I even out do Yahoo and Google!

Get used to it.. now that I'm back to work I try to limit myself to 30 mins to an hour a day here. I use the feedback i get on my projects as an incentavive to work on them and try to improve my skills.
Plus the fact that I get a ton of idea's just crusin the posts. And I'm always trying to help others also, thats what makes this site so much better than many of the others I have surfed in the past.

last time just before I go to bed
Boy, that's dangerous. I started checking in just before going to bed but I was losing too much sleep. It's much safer to do it at work where I won't miss anything.

Just as another couple of peoples I have Armorama on the background all day.
I refresh it every hour or so then look at the new posts and If I can answer them I answer.
Further in the beginning when I discovered Armorama I wasn`t modeling that much (had a small break for a year and a half) And I spend a lot of time here reading the forums. but after a while I found a way to combine Armorama and modeling. I now check Armorama the whole day at work. And in the evening I spend a couple of hours modeling (2 or 3 hours) then make spome pics go to Armorama upload them and answer some posts go to the chatbox and then go to bed................ very late :-) :-) :-)

Well - at first a friend asked me to try the site... you know - "just for kicks"... I was a little scared, but I was also curious. i had other friends who tried it - and they all liked it... and they seemed ok. So I tried it... just for a few minutes.... and liked it. So a little later, I came back for another "hit"... just during my breaks, and at lunch... then whenever I got to work... and then when I got home... till finally, I realized this WAS my home.... Before I knew it, I was dreaming of FTPing articles, downloading pictures, and then iI realized... I had a monkey on my back, and his name was ARMORAMA.COM. and that guy "Staff_Jim"? Well he's just another pusher!
I am now part of a 12-step program to recover some of my modeling time... but I gotta admit - it's a losing battle. If I can just get by and live me life "one day at a time".... I'll be fine.
Sorry - gotta run now. I need another fix!
