What does TLC means ?

I see in a number of posting the abbreviation "TLC" begin used quite frequently...

What does it means ?

Is there a link that explain what all these short forms means ?

TLC = Tender loving care
LOL = Lots of Laughs
IMO = In my opinion
IMHO = In my honest opinion
IIRC = If i remember correctly

Basically they´re short "sms" type phrases.

When used in the field of modeling, TLC is most often mentioned while in the subject of models with less than pefrect fit. In this case, TLC means all the useful and useless methods of making the parts fit, and rectifying seams that couldn't be avoided. In short, solving problems with a kit.
The possible solutions (=TLC) can include the following:
-putty
-copious amounts of sanding and filing (either with or without putty)
scatch-building missing details
-Filling gaps with styrene beams and shims
-making idle threats and swearing at the model if none of the above works
"You had your changes, no more TLC for you. You asked for this!"

oh! I hear you,i get a laugh out seeing SWMBO,yeah! right. few days back she got all snarly about wanting the grass cut, i reminded her that since, I'm the one thats doing it,it'll get done in my time,and if she wanted it done sooner,she can do it herself. and I get a bigger laugh out of her watching these dam interior decorating cable TV shows ,she'll see something,and say"that would look nice,how hard can it be,it looks easy" yeah!it's always easier,when you're the one that doesn't have to do it. SWMBO,yeah,right,.
